Realme GT 6 Price in India Leaked Ahead of June 20 Launch

Realme GT 6 is set to launch in India as well as globally on June 20. The smartphone will join the Realme GT 6T in the country, which was unveiled in May this year. The company has revealed several key details about the upcoming Realme GT 6 including its design, colour option and availability details. Realme has also confirmed some key features of the smartphone but is yet to announce the price. Ahead of the launch, the price of the Indian variant of the Realme GT 6 has leaked online.

Realme GT 6 price in India (expected)

The Realme GT 6 could start in India at Rs. 39,999 for the 8GB + 256GB option, without any launch offers, according to a Smartprix report. The report added that a higher 12GB + 256GB variant of the handset could be priced at Rs. 42,999, without any offers or discounts.

The publication spotted the price of the handset briefly on the official website. At the time of writing, the Realme India microsite did not list the prices or the RAM and storage configuration details of the upcoming handset.

Realme GT 6 specifications

The Realme GT 6 will launch in India on June 20 at 1:30pm IST and will be available for purchase via Flipkart and the Realme India website. The phone is confirmed to come with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with up to 120Hz refresh rate and a 10,014mm square dual VC cooling system for heating management.

The company also confirmed that the Realme GT 6 will be backed by a 5,500mAh battery with support for 120W SuperVOOC charging, that is claimed to charge the phone from zero to 100 percent in 28 minutes.

In the camera department, the Realme GT 6 will include a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary rear sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor. It is also set to feature several AI-backed tools to assist image processing.

Realme GT 6 Confirmed to Get Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC Ahead of June 20 India Launch

Realme GT 6 will launch globally, and in India, on June 20. The handset is said to be a rebadged version of the Realme GT Neo 6, which was introduced in China in May. Ahead of the launch, Realme has confirmed several details of the upcoming handset. The global version of the Realme GT 6 is likely to share similar specifications with the Realme GT Neo 6. A microsite for the phone has also gone live on the Realme website, revealing its colour options.

The Realme GT 6 is confirmed to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It is also set pack a 5,500mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging. The fast charging technology is claimed to charge the phone from zero to 50 percent in 10 minutes or to 100 percent in 28 minutes.

Realme also revealed that the phone will be equipped with a dual VC cooling system, which is said to increase performance efficiency “without overheating, even during intensive gaming sessions.” The Realme GT 6 will also feature an ambient light sensor, the press note confirmed. 

A Realme GT 6 microsite is live on the Realme India website as well as on Flipkart. These pages also list the specifications mentioned above.

The Realme India page additionally shows the upcoming handset in two colour options – green and silver. The page also confirms that the phone will offer LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 onboard storage.

Since the Realme GT 6 has been tipped to be a rebadged version of the Realme GT 6 Neo, the phones are expected to offer similar specifications. Therefore, the upcoming smartphone may sport a dual rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera. The front camera of the handset offer a 32-megapixel sensor.

A promotional image shared by the company’s global X profile teases the design of the upcoming Realme GT 6. It appears to be similar to the Realme GT Neo 6. The rear panel appears to have a glossy finish with a dual rear camera system alongside an LED flash unit, placed in the top left corner.

Previous reports claimed that the Realme GT 6 is expected to be a rebranded Realme GT Neo 6. It could, therefore, come with similar features and specifications. The phone may be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of inbuilt storage. It is expected to sport a 6.78-inch 120Hz 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen.

In the camera department, the Realme GT 6 is likely to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide shooter at the back and a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 camera in the front.
