Realme 11 5G, Realme 11X 5G India Launch Set for August 23; Design, Specifications, Sale Date Tipped

Realme 11 5G and Realme 11X 5G are confirmed to launch in India this month. The base Realme 11 5G had previously been launched in China. Though expected to share similar specifications, the Realme 11x 5G is likely to be cheaper than the base variant. Notably, the Realme 11 Pro 5G and the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G were launched in India earlier this May. The company has teased the design and colour variants of the handsets. Ahead of the launch, a leak suggests the design, colour options, sale details, and specifications of the phones.

The company confirmed that the Realme 11 5G and Realme 11x 5G will launch in India on August 23 at 12 PM IST. Colour options of the handset have been teased by Realme in promotional images. Both the handsets are seen with a centre-aligned punch-hole slot at the top of the display for the front camera, while the back panel is seen with a shimmery finish and a larger circular camera module including the LED flash unit in the top left corner. Meanwhile, a report by SVZTechInfo has leaked dummy images, sale details, and the specifications of the upcoming handsets.

The report says that pre-orders for the Realme 11 and Realme 11x will start on August 23 and will go on till August 28, when the handsets are expected to go on sale. Customers who pre-order the base variant are likely to get a free Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo worth Rs. 1,299, while people pre-ordering the Realme 11x are tipped to get a free Realme Buds 2 worth Rs. 599.

As per the report, the Realme 11 5G is expected to flaunt a ‘glory halo’ design, and the Realme 11x is tipped to sport a S – curve design. Both handsets are expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC and they are likely to get a 6.72-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. 

Realme 11 5G is tipped to launch in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants and is likely to be offered in Glory Black and Glory Gold colour options, according to the report. The Realme 11x 5G is expected to be available in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants and is likely to come in Midnight Black and Purple Dawn colour options.

Meanwhile, the Realme 11 is confirmed to feature a 108-megapixel primary rear sensor, which is tipped to be accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor alongside an LED flash unit and a 16-megapixel front camera sensor. On the other hand, the Realme 11x is said to come with a 64-megapixel primary rear sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an 8-megapixel selfie sensor.

The Realme 11 5G is confirmed to support 67W SuperVOOC wired fast charging, while the Realme 11x model is tipped to support 33W fast charging. Both handsets could come with 5,000mAh batteries. Expected to run Android 13-based Realme UI, the phones are said to support 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and USB Type-C connectivity. For security, both phones are tipped to be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Realme 11 5G Camera, Charging Details Revealed Ahead of India Launch: All Details

Realme 11 5G is expected to launch in India soon. The phone was unveiled earlier this year in China and it also saw a global release recently. It was launched alongside the Realme 11 Pro 5G and the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G. The Chinese variant of the base Realme 11 5G is powered by an octa-core 7nm based MediaTek Dimensity 6020 5G SoC, while the global variant comes with a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset. The Indian variant of the phone is expected to be equipped with a similar chipset as the global one. It will launch in the country alongside a Realme 11x 5G model. The company has now confirmed key camera and charging specifications of the handset.

Confirmed to launch in India soon, the Realme 11 5G is confirmed to feature a 108-megapixel primary rear HM6 sensor with in-sensor 3x zoom support, which is claimed to offer more clarity and better zoomed-in images with lesser noise. Alongside this, it is said that the phone is expected to include a 2-megapixel portrait sensor and a 16-megapixel front camera, just like its Chinese and global counterparts.

On Realme’s India website, the Realme 11 5G is also confirmed to come with up to 67W wired SuperVOOC fast charging support, which is claimed to charge the battery from zero to 50 in 17 minutes and up to 100 percent in 47 minutes. 

The Indian variant of the Realme 11 5G is expected to sport a 6.72-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. An earlier leak suggested that the phone is expected to arrive in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage variants, likely paired with a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. The phone is likely to run Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 out-of-the-box.

For security, the Realme 11 5G is expected to come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is expected to support 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Beidou, Galileo, Glonass, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity. 

In China, the Realme 11 5G is priced at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 18,000) for the 8GB + 256GB and at CNY 1,799 for the 12GB + 256GB (roughly Rs. 20,600) storage variants, respectively. Later in Thailand the 8GB + 256GB option of the handset was listed at TWD 8,990 (roughly Rs. 23,400).

Realme 11x 5G India Launch Expected Soon; Storage Options, Colourways Tipped

Realme recently introduced a number of models in its Realme 11 lineup. The latest to join the series is reported to be the Realme 11x 5G model. The handset will join the Realme 11 4G, Realme 11 5G, Realme 11 Pro 5G and Realme 11 Pro+ 5G models in the series. The company launched the Realme 11 4G in Vietnam and the 5G variant in China and Taiwan, while the Realme 11 Pro models were unveiled earlier this year globally. Now, the colour and storage options of the Realme 11x 5G have been tipped. The handset is also expected to see an India launch. 

According to a report by Appuals, posted on their website, Realme is expected to launch the Realme 11x 5G soon and it is tipped to be available in India as well. The report added that the phone is likely to launch in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants paired with 128GB of inbuilt storage. The handset is tipped to be offered in Midnight Black and Purple Dawn colour options. No other details about the rumoured smartphone are available at the moment.

Meanwhile, the Realme 11 5G comes with an octa-core 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, 8GB of RAM, expandable virtually up to 16GB, and an inbuilt storage of 256GB. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired SuperVOOC charging support and sports a 6.72-inch 120Hz full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Samsung AMOLED display.

The Realme 11 Pro models are powered by 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoCs paired with Mali-G68 GPU, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of inbuilt storage. The Realme 11 Pro model houses a 5,000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging, while the Realme Pro+ model also gets a 5,000mAh battery with 100W wired SuperVOOC fast charging. They feature 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,412 pixels) curved displays and like all other Realme 11 series models, boot Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 skin out-of-the-box.

In India, the 8GB + 128GB variant of the Realme 11 Pro 5G is priced at Rs. 23,999, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB options are listed at Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 27,999, respectively. On the other hand, the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants of the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G are marked at Rs. 27,999 and Rs. 29,999, respectively. Both Pro models are offered in Astral Black, Oasis Green, and Sunrise Beige.

Meanwhile, the Realme 11 5G is offered in Dawn Gold and Moon Night Dark (translated from Chinese) colourways, with the singular 8GB + 256GB option available at TWD 8990 (roughly Rs. 23,500). Realme is yet to confirm the India launch of this model.
