Per TMZ, the adventurer died Sept. 3 in his New York home from progressive supranuclear palsy. Lembo’s daughter, Emily Lembo, shared that he was diagnosed with the disease six years ago and it affected his memory, speech, and motor skills.
Mayo Clinic describes progressive supranuclear palsy as a rare, incurable disorder that leads to complications with walking, balance, eye movements, swallowing, and other functions, as a result of cell deterioration in the brain.
Lembo appeared in Season 21 of the reality hit and progressed to the final five before being voted out. At the time, he identified his interests as weight-lifting, softball, and skiing, and worked in real estate.
The former contestant’s obituary reads that he is survived by his sons, Matthew and Michael, daughter-in-laws Emily and Dana, grandchildren Ava, Annabelle, Sailor, James, and Harper, and former spouse Barbara. The tribute describes him as a “charismatic, larger-than-life, outgoing bon vivant” who “loved nothing more than spending time with his children and friends – new and old.”
Many have taken to Twitter to share their condolences. Writer Mike Bloom shared, “RIP to an enigmatic character from Nicaragua who gave us alligator shoes, giant chairs, an all-time jury speech, and a surprisingly tender family visit.”
“Being dead for two months unbeknownst to the wider community is SUCH a Dan Lembo thing to do,” wrote a fan. “RIP mysterious expensive-footwear king.”
“Man RIP to Dan Lembo. He was one of my favorites from Nicaragua. I absolutely love this picture of him sitting in the giant chair,” penned a third.
Warning: if you see any of the following women in the Hamptons next summer, check for cameras.
Page Six hears that Bravo’s short list for cast members for the brand new “Legacy” spinoff of the “Real Housewives of New York City” are Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Dorinda Medley, Luann De Lesseps and Sonja Morgan, plus one or two more names we’re yet to pin down.
Meanwhile, we’re told the longest-serving “RHONY” star, Ramona Singer, has not made the cut.
Sources say that contracts haven’t been signed, but talks are underway with all the potential stars.
Earlier this year, the network announced that it was putting the 14-year-old series through a major overhaul.
Execs split the series into two shows: “The Real Housewives of New York City,” which has an all-new cast of untried stars, and the “Legacy” version, which would feature a cast of fan favorites from earlier seasons.
For some of the returning cast, they’ve reached way back into the archives. Zarin only appeared on the first four of the thirteen seasons that have aired, but her memorable battle with former cast member Bethenny Frankel has given her an outsize presence in the minds of many “Housewives” addicts, in spite of her brief stint.
Only four of the new stars have appeared on-screen together. Zarin, Bensimon, De Lesseps and Morgan overlapped fleetingly for Season 4. That was Morgan’s first season, but Medley didn’t join until Season 7.
Every season of Love is Blind has its villain; the first season had Jessica Batten who had her eyes on another contestant’s fiancé, constantly brought up her partner’s young age, and, perhaps the worst of it all, let her dog drink wine (which is super unsafe). The following season had Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee, who continuously body-shamed his fiancé and objectified the other women contestants.
But what about the latest season of the Netflix reality hit? The internet has collectively decided to band against Bartise Bowden (despite everybody teaming up against Cole Barnett during the reunion). The 27-year-old data analyst spent the season engaged to Nancy Rodriguez, 32, however, as revealed in the finale, things didn’t really go as planned. Nancy was ready to get married, quickly saying “I do” at the altar, while Bartise hit her with the harsh “I do not” in response.
Now, you might be thinking, “Well, that’s the nature of the game,” and that’s so, so, true. But in this case, Bartise was a walking red flag (before the wedding) and on instances, told his fiancé that he was attracted to another contestant while on their honeymoon and made continual comments about not being physically attracted to her.
Already dubbed a “narcissistic fuck boy” by Reddit, Bartise continued to drop major bombs during the reunion episode, where it was revealed that he was flirting with a “tall blonde” mere days after his failed wedding. It was a bit of a “three strikes and you’re out” scenario, and Twitter wasn’t going to let him get away unscathed.
Bartise is a villain and I don’t like anything about him but Nancy that man did not blindside you he played in your face and you let him #LoveIsBlind
While social media users have delivered some of the best, meanest jabs towards the young professional, Nancy’s family represented all of us during the wedding. The realtor’s mom and brothers, who already informed Bartise of their protectiveness, didn’t hold back when it came to calling him out for his immature behavior.
Bartise having the audacity to tell Nancy’s brother he fucked things when HE was the one that said no at the altar embarrassing that woman really just makes me want to beat his ass. #LoveIsBlindpic.twitter.com/4ZFodLFeEc
His former partner didn’t go uncriticized during all this as many were confused about why Nancy allowed Bartise to speak aggressively to her family. At one point, when her mom was coming to console her, both contestants ushered her away. Upon her second try, Nancy’s mom told her that Bartise wasn’t ready for her because she was “too much” for him to handle.
Bartise responded with, “Would you have rather me say yes to your daughter, knowing what you just said about me? […] There’s no way that would’ve made any sense. I’m sorry. He then mentioned that their “journey” could continue after the failed nuptials (which Nancy quickly put an end to).
After more badgering, he eventually snapped “I don’t owe you anything” to both Nancy’s mom and her brother, before telling the latter, “Go inside, bro. You don’t understand this.” Disrespectful much?
I’m so sorry but Nancy absolutely fucking lost me letting Bartise talk to her family the way he did. Absolutely the fuck not. And then to walk off with him. To have given him the time of day at all is insane to me. But to do it after he talked to her family that way #LoveIsBlind
-Bartise, a man who just broke it off with his fiance at the altar in front of her friends and family after emotionally abusing her for weeks.#loveisblindpic.twitter.com/LcDubRxz7m
Whew! Bartise is not coming out “on top” when it comes to public approval. In addition to receiving criticism for the way he handled his relationship, the internet has also decided that they don’t like his “goofy” hair or the things he shared at the reunion.
Nah why the hell is Cole getting all the heat in this reunion when Bartise is right there? He was most definitely the worst of the bunch and I can’t believe the girls aren’t reading his ass. #LoveIsBlindpic.twitter.com/IgJsNmelUy

Chris Brown on “Dancing With the Stars?” He would “kill” it, according to Jordin Sparks.
Following her elimination from the dance competition show Monday night, the singer told Page Six that she would love to see the “King of R&B” compete for the mirrorball trophy one day.
“To see him [dance] ballroom? And then he would do contemporary and he’d just – he’d kill everything. It would be amazing,” Sparks gushed, with her pro partner, Brandon Armstrong, agreeing.
“You dance on tour, you’ve danced with some of my homies,” Armstrong added. “You’re a bad boy but come on. Let’s see you out in the ballroom floor. That would be nuts! That’d be nasty.”
Other famous friends that Sparks said she would love to see in the ballroom include Chris Tucker – “he would be so good!” she raved – along with her “A Christmas Treasure” co-star Michael Xavier and his wife, Eddie Murphy’s 32-year-old daughter, Bria Murphy.
Sparks, 32, and Brown, 33, go way back, as they famously collaborated on the 2008 hit “No Air,” which was featured on her self-titled debut album.
The “American Idol” alum performed a contemporary routine to the track during the show’s “Prom Night”-themed episode, which received raving reviews from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli at the time.
Unfortunately, Sparks and Armstrong didn’t have as much luck this week during “Halloween Night.” The dance duo found themselves in the bottom two with Heidi D’Amelio and Artem Chigvintsev, whom head judge Goodman ultimately voted to save from elimination.
“I’m actually very happy. The judges have been amazing to me all season, and I’ve grown so much on this journey,” Sparks told reporters via Zoom after the show. “I am sad to go home but I’m really happy to sleep in tomorrow and to get a massage, to get some physical therapy and to spend time with my son. There’s lots of silver linings.”
She continued, “It gets tougher as the weeks go by and everybody is good … so, you know, it’s tough. I was watching the judges, actually, and they really were grappling with who they wanted to save. So I’m happy I made it a difficult decision for them.”
Sparks said she’s not letting the elimination get her down, however, as she’s already planning to make a special announcement about her next big move on Tuesday.
“I honestly feel like this journey has really kind of opened me up in a way. I’m still the same person that I was but I feel new, I feel limitless almost, like the energy has kind of shifted,” she explained.
“I’m about to step into a really amazing new chapter. Which, I have an announcement tomorrow about new music. I didn’t plan it this way but I gotta let you know anyway! And I am very, very excited.”
As for Brown, it’s no question that the “Run It!” singer – who has often credited the late Michael Jackson as his inspiration – would be an amazing contender for “DWTS” with his impressive dance and stage skills alone.
However, the audience reaction to producers actually casting Brown could be a different story due to his controversial past.
The entertainer has found himself battling a long list of legal issues over the years, including an infamous arrest in 2009 for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna. Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault and completed probation in 2015 for the incident, in addition to community service and domestic-violence counseling.
“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Disney+.
Joe Amabile — AKA “Grocery Store Joe” — and Serena Pitt got married Thursday at New York City’s City Hall.
The “Bachelor in Paradise” couple stunned fans when they posted an Instagram video of their nuptials nearly one year before their original wedding day next September.
“JUST MARRIED !!” Pitt and Amabile captioned their joint announcement on Thursday. “We are still having a wedding this September but who doesn’t want to get married twice!”
The lovebirds also shared a full one-minute and fifty-second video of the ceremony — which Natasha Parker, who co-hosts the podcast “Click Bait” with Amabile, filmed as their witness — on their YouTube channel.
In the video, fans could see the legal presider asking them to say “I do” as they held hands and wore face masks.
After they were pronounced legally married, the couple tore off their masks and embraced each other with a hug and several kisses.
Neither Pitt, 25, nor Amabile, 26, went with traditional wedding attire. The bride wore a cream long-sleeve top with black leather pants and black boots, while the groom wore a navy quarter zip sweater, black pants and white sneakers.
“We have always known marriage was in our future, it just looked a little bit different than we expected,” the couple told People on Thursday.
Pitt and Amabile added that they’re “already planning” their wedding next year, but they wanted a “private moment just the two of us” that “felt so special and intimate.”
Bachelor Nation immediately flooded the couple’s post with sweet comments.
“Congrats you two!!!! (For the record I’m ALL about getting married 2x)❤️❤️❤️,” host Jesse Palmer, who had a second wedding to Emely Fardo in France two years after eloping in Connecticut, commented.

Pitt and Amabile’s engagement aired on “BIP” a little more than a year ago.
“OMMGGGG YOU GUYS!!!! Ekkkk!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!” Ashley Iaconetti commented, while her husband Jared Haibon added, “Congratulations!!!!!!!!”
The “BIP” success story got engaged on Season 7 of the hit show filmed in summer 2021. They initially dated long-distance until moving in together in New York City this March.
Prior to their relationship, Amabile dated Kendall Long for more than a year after meeting on Season 5 of “BIP.” Pitt competed on Matt James’ season of “The Bachelor” but infamously dumped him.
Bachelor in Paradise surprised fans with a new ship to root for at the start of Week 5.
After receiving a date card in Episode 8, formerly all-in-on-Johnny contestant Victoria Fuller asked out one of Split Week’s new men, Alex Bordyukov. The two went on a romantic date, where they discussed Victoria’s relationship with Johnny, her reservations, Alex’s intentions, and what their future could look like together. Honestly? Their connection seemed solid, so we’re interested to see where things go.
So who is Alex Bordyukov? Do Alex and Victoria leave Paradise together? And how did their first date go? We’ve got all the answers. But be warned, spoilers for Bachelor in Paradise Season 8, Episode 8 are ahead.
Who Is Alex Bordyukov on Bachelor in Paradise?
As noted in Decider’s Split Week newbies guide, Alex Bordyukov was originally a contestant on Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette (Season 13). He was eliminated from the show during Week 6, but in the years that followed, Bordyukov appeared on Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise Australia and Season 1 of Bachelor in Paradise Canada.
Bordyukov is from Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, and though some answers have likely changed since, an archive of his old Bachelorette bio from 2017 reveals the following (occasionally outrageous!) tidbits:
Height: 6’2″
Tattoos? No.
Would you describe yourself as “the party-starter,” “the wingman” or “the laid back one?” The wingman.
What are your three best attributes: Adaptable, logical, fun.
What are your 3 worst attributes? Selfish, unemotional, unapologetic.
What is the most outrageous thing you have ever done? Ate a live salamander.
Who are your top 3 favorite groups/artists & why? Coldplay, Beatles … Can’t really think of a third one. Music isn’t a big part of my life.
Who is your favorite artist? The Rock (Dwayne Johnson).
What is the most romantic present you have ever given? Why? A car. I like giving practical gifts.
Do you consider yourself romantic and why? Yes. I like to treat my significant other like a queen.
Do you prefer a woman who wants to be pursued or a woman who pursues you and why? I like a woman that pursues me. I like an aggressive, go-getter type.
You can learn more about Alex by following him on Instagram, where he currently has 82,000 followers.
How Does Alex Bordyukov and Victoria Fuller’s First Date Go?
As noted in Decider’s Episode 8 recap, Victoria received a date card that read, “It’s never too late to fall in love” and used it to ask Alex on a date. Earlier in the episode, we saw the two finally talking after sharing a sweet, intimate moment the night before, during which Alex rubbed Victoria’s head while she was falling asleep on the couch. Victoria said that Alex was extremely her type, but because she was in a relationship with Johnny she’d been avoiding him at the hotel. She explained that when Alex rubbed her head, she realized the connection was worth exploring, so she decided to give him a chance.
At dinner, Victoria was very open with Adam about her relationship with Johnny, her hesitations about dating someone younger than her who might not be ready for marriage and a family, and her desire to chat with Johnny before they move their relationship forward in any way. Alex assured Victoria that despite “looking like everyone’s douchebag ex boyfriend,” he was a kind, caring man who’s ready to get engaged at the end of the show and wants a family.
Ultimately, the date went well (except for the fact that the two left full, delicious-looking plates of food on the table untouched the entire night). It’s clear that Victoria will have to head back to the beach and chat with Johnny before she can really explore her connection with Alex, so hopefully that happens in Episode 9.
Reality Steve Rumors: Do Alex Bordyukov and Victoria Fuller Get Engaged or End Up Together on Bachelor in Paradise?
Another warning that spoilers are obviously ahead! We’re serious!
According to Reality Steve’s Paradise 2022 predictions, Alex and Victoria don’t end up engaged at the end of Season 8, nor do they leave the beach together. But Reality Steve does believe Victoria leaves the beach engaged to someone. That’s right, Johnny fans. There may be hope for your boy yet.
New episodes of Bachelor in Paradise air on ABC Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. ET. Episodes are available for next-day streaming on Hulu.
A “hot” Lisa Rinna, who was “dripping sweat” during BravoCon interviews, suggested that “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” should take a “break.”
The veteran Bravolebrity — who’s held a CGI diamond since 2014 — described Season 12 as “f–king rough,” “brutal” and “horrible” while chatting with Derek Zagami at the Javits Center in New York City this past weekend.
When asked what takeaways she could possibly implement into next season, Rinna, 59, began to say that she needs a break … but quickly corrected herself.
“I don’t know. I need a–we need a break. We need time,” she said, elaborating that she feels the ladies could benefit from “time to let it settle.”
“You know, I hope that we can, um, move forward,” she added.
During the three-part Season 12 reunion, which is still airing, Bravo boss Andy Cohen scolds Rinna for her “disastrous” social media activity, which prompts the reality star to tauntingly urge him to “put [her] on pause!”
The line is a reference to Cohen’s 2020 decision to fire “Real Housewives of New York City” alum Dorinda Medley, remaining hopeful at the time that her departure was simply a “pause.”
She recently flipped off fans at BravoCon after they booed her.
She recently flipped off fans at BravoCon after they booed her.
Despite the “WAP” rapper’s recent robbery she was all smiles…
As for Rinna — who wears Kathy Hilton’s “biggest bully in Hollywood” jab with pride — she has leaned all the way into her villain era.
In fact, after BravoCon attendees booed her last Friday, she held up her middle finger and proudly made her way across the stage to sit with her co-stars.
Many believe the former soap opera star knows her time with the network is up and is choosing to go out with a bang.
Back in August, however, a source told Page Six that the QVC maven was very much still on the show and insisted anything suggesting otherwise — including Rinna’s own Instagram posts — was simply not true.
Dolores Catania seems certain that Teresa Giudice can mend her fractured relationship with brother Joe Gorga and his wife, Melissa Gorga.
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 51, chatted with Page Six at BravoCon this weekend, revealing a sweet moment fans may have missed during a supersized “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” taping that aired Sunday night.
“It was a glimpse of hope when Teresa was on the stage and [Joe] was looking at her and he was clapping, looking up at her,” Catania exclusively told Page Six. “I saw a little softness going on there.”
Giudice’s longstanding feud with the Gorgas reignited this summer after the notorious table-flipper brought up unfounded claims that Melissa, 43, cheated on Joe, 48, with actor Nick Barrotta. (The couple has vehemently denied the allegations.)
An explosive interaction between the trio ensued at a party that was filmed for the Season 13 finale. Given the drama, the Gorgas decided to skip Giudice’s Aug. 6 nuptials to her now-husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas.
Sources tell Page Six thoughtful producers made the adjustment so…
However, she also expressed optimism that the two parties would eventually patch things up.
“I wouldn’t say this is terminal yet, if I were to speak in medical terms,” the former surgical assistant explained at the time. “I’ve seen people come back from a lot worse.”
Addressing the infidelity speculation, Catania said she “would never believe such a thing” about Melissa and Joe’s marriage. She also stated that she found the mounting discord “very sad” as she is friends with all involved.

The Gorgas participated in the first “RHONJ” panel, while Giudice took the BravoCon stage for the second.
Sources tell Page Six thoughtful producers made the adjustment so…
The “RHONJ” cast was split into two panels at BravoCon due to the current conflict between Giudice and the Gorgas.
Saturday’s first “RHONJ” panel at BravoCon featured the Gorgas, Margaret Josephs and her husband, Joe Benigno, and Jackie Goldschneider and her husband, Evan Goldschneider.
Giudice and Ruelas, 47, as well as Jennifer Aydin and her husband, Dr. Bill Aydin, and Catania and her ex-husband, Frank Catania, participated in the second panel.
“Real Housewives” mastermind Andy Cohen said during a Sunday “Ask Andy” panel that it was “better” to keep the Garden State crew separated because of the contention — and to not spoil the show’s forthcoming installment.
“We’re on the precipice for a really great season of ‘New Jersey’ airing, so we’re in a really limbo-y place where if we bring them all out together, they’re in a different place than they were the last time we saw them all as a group,” Cohen told fans.
“It’s a balancing act because you want things to play out on TV, but here we are, and I want to give everyone a good time, so it’s a little bit of a juggling act.”

Former NFL pro Jesse Palmer says hosting “The Bachelor” franchise is a like playing quarterback.
“You’re just trying to avoid the drama at all times,” the ex-Giant told The Post. “It’s like trying not to get sacked.”
On Sunday, instead of watching his former team’s season opener, Palmer, 43, will be traveling to Los Angeles to shoot the live two-part “Bachelorette” Season 19 finale airing Sept. 13 and 20 on ABC.
The Canadian native was hired as the franchise’s host in 2021 after Chris Harrison, who was at the helm since “The Bachelor” premiered in 2002, stepped down in controversy after he defended a “Bachelor” contestant pictured at an Antebellum-themed college party.
In 2004, when Palmer became the first professional athlete to star as “The Bachelor,” which was still a new TV concept, he gave his teammates the play-by-play.
“As you can imagine, we had a lot of fun with that,” said Palmer, who also works as a college football analyst for ESPN.
The popular franchise keeps bringing football players back to star as leading men and contestants and he understands why.
“I think football players have a lot of personality. I think they feel comfortable in their own skin,” he said.
And like Bachelor Mansion, an NFL locker room can be a powder keg of emotion.
“You can’t even imagine how much drama there is,” he said.
Although he did not find lasting love on national TV, he did discover it over a decade later in Manhattan — marrying Brazilian model Emely Fardo in 2020. He first laid eyes on her in a boxing class at Rumble on West 23rd Street in Chelsea.
“I was trying to talk to her the day I met her, but I missed my chance and then she liked a photo of mine on social media … and then I technically made the first move and direct messaged her,” he said. “But she didn’t answer me back for 10 days; she slow played me.”
The couple, who just moved to Miami Beach with their Aussie Doodle Mademoseille Loulou Palmer, “would love to have children” and have been talking about “potentially getting another dog.”
When asked if he would want his kids to be on the dating franchise or play football, Palmer said, “I’d have to ask the boss. I’m super open to everything. I’d be down for both, but I don’t know what the boss would say.”
