Oppo Reno 11F 5G Colour Options Officially Teased Ahead of Launch; to Get Triple Rear Cameras

Oppo Reno 11F 5G is likely to get a launch date soon, as the company has officially teased the handset on its social media platforms. This will be the third model in the Oppo Reno 11 5G series joining the Oppo Reno 11 and Oppo Reno 11 Pro, which were launched in November 2023. The official poster showcases the smartphones in green and pink hues. Earlier, several key specifications of the Oppo Reno 11F 5G had leaked, giving an insight into what these devices may look like.

The official teaser was shared by Oppo Indonesia on X (formerly Twitter) in a post where the two different colourways and the triple rear camera module can be seen. The company also shared a registration link for users to get an update about its launch. The Oppo Reno 11F 5G is not likely to be launched in India, however, as per reports it may arrive in the country as the rebranded Oppo F25, the successor to the Oppo F23.

Apart from the two colour options being revealed, the Oppo Reno 11F 5G is also expected to be available in a blue colour. All the colourways appear to have a glossy finish. The triple rear camera rings are housed in a rectangular module, which is different from the other two smartphones in the series that feature a pill-shaped module.

Facebook user HTC Warujayeng earlier shared that the smartphone could be launched on February 24, and the pre-orders could open between February 16 and February 23. However, some reports have also mentioned that the Oppo Reno 11F 5G is already available for pre-orders in offline markets.

Some of the key specifications of the handset were previously leaked. Based on the leaks, the Oppo Reno 11F 5G might feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it could get a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB inbuilt storage. For optics, it is likely to sport a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The leak also suggested that the phone would be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ May Feature Periscope Zoom Camera: Report

Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is expected to launch the Oppo Reno 9 Series and Reno Find N2 model smartphone in the China market. According to the latest report, the Chinese smartphone maker may also be working on an Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ model, which could be headlined by a periscope zoom camera that was previously seen on the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom which was unveiled by the company in April 2019. The periscope camera offered 5x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom on the Oppo Reno 10x, taking the smartphone world by a storm.

The periscope camera module has not made an appearance on any of Oppo’s smartphones since featuring on the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, and Oppo Reno 2 in 2019. Popular tipster, Digital Chat Station, took to the Chinese social media blog, Weibo, to ask users if “(they) want a periscope for the Reno series super cup?”, while adding that the current Reno 9 Series will not see the comeback of the periscope camera.

Another tipster, Mess With Assen, also suggested on Weibo that the periscope camera may return to Oppo’s smartphone lineup through the Oppo Reno 10 series while adding that the smartphone is expected to be launched by the company sometime in mid-2023.

Both tipsters suggest that the periscope camera will feature on the “super cup” variant of the Oppo Reno 10 series, which is expected to be the higher-end Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ model in the lineup, according to translation. The tipster also suggests the purported Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ smartphone may support 2x optical zoom.

Oppo, however, has not provided any official information on the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ or on the return of the periscope camera hardware on any of its future smartphones.

Oppo Reno 8 Series Listed on Official China Website, Reno 8 Pro+ Design Captured in Hands-On Video

Oppo Reno 8 series will be launched in China on May 23. Now, a week prior to its launch, the upcoming smartphone has been listed on Oppo China’s online store. The website reveals three models, the Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Pro+. On the other hand, a Chinese tipster has also posted a hands-on video of the Oppo Reno8 Pro+ showcasing its design and look. In the video, the handset can be seen with flat aluminium sides and a centred punch-hole cutout.

As per the official images of the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+, shared on Oppo China’s online store, the rear camera module on the Reno8 Pro+ seems to feature a design that’s very similar to the recently released Oppo Find X5 series. The handset is said to come in at 7.34mm thickness, which will make it the thinnest Oppo Reno phone. The images also indicate that the front side of the Reno 8 Pro+ handset brings a centred punch-hole cutout, as mentioned, along with symmetrical top and bottom bezels, while the other two models come with their front cameras placed at the left corner. The official images for the upcoming Oppo Reno 8, and Reno 8 Pro, were also posted here, and here on the official Oppo Store.

All three smartphones in the images can be seen bringing almost similar designs with the only difference being that the Oppo Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro+ are packed with four rear camera setups, while the Oppo Reno 8 is shown with a triple camera setup at the back. The Oppo Reno Pro models have also got slimmer screen bezels than the regular Oppo Reno 8 model.

All three phones, on the other hand, are claimed to come with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB onboard storage.

Besides this, another report recently suggested that the Oppo Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro handsets would come in black, blue, and gradient colour options. Meanwhile the Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ seems to add a silver finish in the official images.

Moreover, as per the previous report, the Oppo Reno 8 series may be launched in India by the end of June.
