Oppo Reno 10 5G Series Will Launch Soon in India, Pricing Tipped: All Details

Oppo Reno 10 5G series is expected to launch in India soon, but ahead of its official release, pricing of the phones has been tipped online. The flagship handsets are expected to start from Rs. 30,000 in the country. The latest Reno 10 series comprising the Oppo Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+ were launched in China in May. In India, the handsets will be available for purchase via Flipkart. The Indian variant of Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ is teased to run on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

Known tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) has leaked the pricing details of the Oppo Reno 10 series on Twitter. According to the tipster, the price of the Oppo Reno 10 will start at around Rs. 30,000 in India. The Oppo Reno 10 Pro, on the other hand, could cost Rs. 40,000 for the base RAM and storage variant. Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+, being the most premium option in the new series, is said to come with an initial price tag of Rs. 50,000.

In China, the Oppo Reno 10 5G price starts at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 29,000) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. Whereas, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro 5G’s price has been set at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 41,000) for the base 16GB RAM + 128GB storage version. The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G has a starting price tag of CNY 3,899 (roughly Rs. 45,000) for the base 16GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.

Flipkart and Oppo have a dedicated microsite teasing the specifications of the Oppo Reno 10 5G series. The exact launch date is yet to be confirmed, but it is anticipated to go official in mid-July. The Indian variant of Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G will have a 64-megapixel telephoto portrait camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 wide-angle camera. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel shooter for selfies and video chats.

Oppo Reno 10 Series India Launch Timeline, Price, RAM, Storage, and Colour Options Tipped

Oppo Reno 10 series India launch timeline has leaked online. Oppo launched the Reno 10 series in China earlier this month. The latest Reno series smartphones comprises three handsets, namely the Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+ 5G. Ahead of the official announcement, a tipster has not only leaked the India launch timeline, but also the pricing details, RAM, storage and colour options of the Oppo Reno 10 series.

Tipster Paras Guglani claims that the Oppo Reno 10 series will launch during the third week of June in India. The tipster also claimed that all three handsets will launch in Silver Grey, Confidential Black, and Dream Gold colour options.

Guglani claimed that the Oppo Reno 10’s base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will be priced between Rs. 31,000 and Rs. 33,000. Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ 5G are said to be launched in India with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The tipster added that the Reno 10 Pro’s starting price will be ranging between Rs. 35,000 and Rs. 39,000 in India. On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G’s 12GB + 256GB variant is tipped to be priced between Rs. 41,000 and Rs. 43,000.

Oppo is expected to launch the Reno 10 series in India in more RAM and storage options. That being said, since there is no official word about the launch, we advise taking the leaked details with a pinch of salt.

In China, Oppo launched the Reno 10 series with a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The Reno 10 5G’s screen offers a full-HD+ resolution, whereas the other two phones have a higher 1,240×2,772-pixel resolution.

The handsets feature a triple rear camera setup. The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G features a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope lens with 2x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro 5G has a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera. Finally, the Oppo Reno 10 5G has a 64-megapixel OmniVision main camera sensor and shares the other two sensors with the Reno 10 Pro. All three phones feature a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 selfie camera.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G features a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 4,700mAh battery with 100W charging support. The Reno 10 Pro 5G, on the other hand, has a smaller 4,600mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Lastly, the vanilla Oppo Reno 10 5G has a 4,600mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

All three Oppo Reno 10 series handsets run Android 13 out of the box and have a layer of ColorOS 13.1 on top.

Oppo Reno 10 Series India Launch Tipped for February, Reno 9 Lineup May Not Debut

The lineup, which included the Oppo Reno 9 Pro+, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 models, was highly speculated to make its debut in other global markets including India, but a new leak suggests that Oppo has held back the India launch decision. Instead, the Chinese smartphone brand is reportedly gearing up to unveil the Reno 10 series in the country around the first half of next month. Recently, the schematics of the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G have surfaced online, suggesting thin bezels, and a hole-punch display design.

report by 91Mobiles, quoting tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414), has suggested the India launch details of the Oppo Reno 10 series. As per the leak, the launch will take place in February first or second week. The Chinese smartphone brand is expected to skip the Oppo Reno 9 lineup in India. However, Oppo has not shared any information on the new Reno series and it is unclear how many models will be included in the Reno 10 series.

Recently, schematics of the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G appeared on Weibo. It suggested a hole-punch display design, thin bezels and a new camera design with a pill-shaped camera module with MariSilicon branding. Another leak has indicated that Oppo Reno 10 series will be launched sometime in mid of the year. The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ is rumoured to feature a periscope zoom camera.

The Oppo Reno 9 Pro+, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 smartphones were launched in China in November last year. The price of the vanilla Oppo Reno 9 starts at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 28,500) for the base 8GB + 256GB model.

Oppo’s Reno 9 series smartphones feature 6.7-inch OLED curved displays with full-HD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. They offer up to 512GB of onboard storage and feature 32-megapixel selfie shooters. The vanilla Oppo Reno 9 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SOC, while, the Reno 9 Pro has a Snapdragon 778G SoC. The Reno 9 Pro+ is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
