Jio Launches New Roaming Plans With Unlimited Data and Calls Starting at Rs. 898

Reliance Jio has introduced new international unlimited roaming packs for its customers. Jio’s latest unlimited international roaming packs range from Rs. 898 to Rs. 3,455. The former comes with seven days validity while the latter offers 30 days validity. Customers travelling to countries like UAE, US, and Mexico can opt for these plans. It offers unlimited voice calling support to India and unlimited incoming SMS. Additionally, Jio is providing a new annual roaming plan for Rs. 2,799 with 100-minute voice calls and 2GB data across several travel destinations.

The telecom operator on Thursday launched a new range of international roaming packs for customers. Users travelling to UAE can avail of three new international roaming packs from Jio. The plans priced at Rs. 898, Rs. 1,598, and Rs. 2,998 offer 7, 14, and 24 days validity, respectively. The Rs. 2,998 plan offers 250 minutes of outgoing and incoming calls to India and 7GB of data.

The Rs. 898 and Rs. 1,598 plans provide 100 and 150 voice calls and 3GB and 1GB data, respectively. Standard PayGo rates will be applicable for calls to other countries. They provide unlimited incoming SMS alongside 100 outgoing SMS messages. After the high-speed data limit is consumed the speed will be reduced to 64Kbps.

Jio is providing three packs for users in the US, Mexico, and the US Virgin Islands. The basic plan priced at Rs. 1,555 comes with 10 days validity and provides 150-minute voice calls and 7GB data. The Rs. 2,555 and Rs. 3,455 plans offer 250-minute voice calls. The former has 15GB data and 21 days validity, while the latter offers 25GB data and 30 days validity.

All three plans provide unlimited incoming calls including Wi-Fi calls and incoming SMS. Outgoing calls over Wi-Fi are allowed for calls to India only.

Further, Jio has launched an annual plan priced at Rs. 2799 with 100 outgoing and incoming minutes along with 25GB of data. The plan covers 51 countries. Additionally, Jio is offering new in-flight plans starting at Rs. 195.

Jio Prepaid Offers Free Disney+ Hotstar Subscription for World Cup 2023 With Select Recharge Plans

The ICC World Cup 2023 season has begun with the England vs New Zealand game as the first match of the tournament. With the cricket fever spreading faster than expected, Reliance Jio has introduced some of the best offers for the experience of the viewers. Now, Jio prepaid users will be able to enjoy buffer-free cricket matches live from the stadium in HD quality with new Disney+ Hotstar plans. The telecom giant has launched monthly, quarterly and annual prepaid recharge plans that offer data benefits, unlimited voice calls, and a free subscription to the Disney+ Hotstar mobile app.

The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will run for October and November, with the finals scheduled to take place on November 19. For the tournament, Jio prepaid users can opt for either monthly or quarterly recharge plans. For a recharge pack with a validity of 28 days, Jio prepaid offers 1.5GB data per day on the Rs. 328 plan, while users can get access to 2GB data per day with the Rs. 388 recharge plan.

On the other hand, the quarterly recharge plans with Disney+ Hotstar subscription are priced at Rs. 758 for 1.5GB data per day and Rs. 808 for 2GB data per day for 84 days. All the plans mentioned above provide 3 months of Disney+ Hotstar subscription. Users can also add additional data at just Rs. 331, offering 40GB data for 30 days.

There is another monthly plan for 28 days at Rs. 598, offering 2GB of data per day. However, it packs 1 year of Disney+ Hotstar subscription for free.

The annual Jio prepaid plan for Rs. 3178 offers plan offers 2GB high-speed data per day and a Disney+ Hotstar mobile subscription for 365 days.

To avail of any of these plans, users can recharge with any of the above-mentioned packs and sign in to the Disney+ Hotstar app on their mobile with the same Jio number that was recharged.

It is to be noted that the live streaming of all the matches during the ICC World Cup 2023 will be available on Disney+ Hotstar

Jio Offers Additional Benefits on Select Recharge Plans for Limited Days: Details

As Jio turns seven, the telecom company has come up with some additional benefits for its users in a few select tariff plans. For recharge on Rs. 299 and Rs. 749 Jio plans, users will get an additional data to the tune of 7GB and 14GB, respectively, as special benefits.

For Rs. 2,999 Jio recharge, users will be entitled to an additional 21GB of data along with Rs. 200 off on shopping on AJIO, 20 percent off on Netmeds (upto Rs. 800), Rs. 100 off on Swiggy, and 10 percent off on Reliance Digital, among others offers.

The only catch is that the offer period for the recharge is during September 5-30.

Once recharged, extra benefits shall be credited to the eligible customer’s ‘MyJio’ account immediately. Extra data will be credited as a data voucher in ‘MyJio’ app, and users will have to redeem the voucher from it.

Speaking about Jio’s mobile network during the Annual General Meeting held on August 28, Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani said the per-user per month data consumption on its network is 25GB.

On Jio 5G services, he apprised it is now available across 96 percent of census towns and is on track to cover the entire country, as was planned, by December 2023. Notably, telecom service providers in India started providing high-speed 5G services in the country in October 2022.

Jio’s overall customer base has now crossed the milestone of 45 crore.
