Suns acquire second-rounders in a trade with Grizzlies

After offloading most of their draft picks this year, the Phoenix Suns are on the move to stockpile and regain their departed assets.

Per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Suns have acquired three second-rounders from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Isaiah Todd and first-round pick swap rights in 2024 and 2030.

According to Woj, the second-round selections are a 2025 pick which was originally owned by the Pelicans, as well as Memphis’ own 2028 and 2029 picks.

Added by Wojnarowski, the first-round pick swaps that the Grizzlies will acquire will involve a much less favorable of the Suns and Wizards‘ picks.

Phoenix notably handed Washington the right to swap first-rounders in those mentioned years above as part of the Bradley Beal blockbuster transaction.
