Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads Thunder to blowout win against Pelicans
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered a commanding performance, scoring 33 points to propel the Oklahoma City Thunder to a resounding 124-92 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, seizing a 2-0 lead in their first-round Western Conference playoff series.
Supported by Chet Holmgren’s 26 points and Jalen Williams’ 21 points, the top-seeded Thunder dominated both ends of the floor.
Despite solid efforts from Jonas Valanciunas (19 points) and Brandon Ingram (18 points), the Pelicans struggled to generate offense without their leading scorer Zion Williamson, who remained sidelined with a strained left hamstring.
