Bronny James faced difficulties in his freshman season at USC and isn’t getting much support as he heads into the NBA Draft. Despite declaring for the draft, his performance at USC, averaging fewer than five points per game, hasn’t garnered much confidence.

He’s still eligible to return to college. His cardiac arrest last summer may have impacted his play, despite being a McDonald’s All-American in high school. Though he scored 13 points in a scrimmage at the NBA Scouting Combine, scouts’ assessments shared by ESPN’s Marc Spears weren’t overly positive.
