Rockets gain momentum in pursuit of Kyle Kuzma
The Rockets are emerging as the frontrunners in the race to sign unrestricted free agent Kyle Kuzma, according to a report by Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report. The Kings have also expressed interest in the versatile forward, but the Rockets are believed to have the edge in securing his services.
With their sights set on turning the corner in their rebuilding process, Houston is actively seeking proven players who can lead them back to the playoffs next season. Kuzma, who recently declined his player option for the 2023-24 season, has caught the attention of the Rockets’ front office.
During the 2022-23 season, Kuzma showcased his scoring prowess, averaging a career-high 21.2 points per game along with 7.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists for the Washington Wizards.
