Some key members of the Jazz are reportedly ‘surprised and upset’ on New York Knicks executive William Wesley’s courtside presence in the 2022 Playoff Round 1 series between Dallas and Utah (via SNY’s Ian Begley).

The Knicks have been one of the talks in the league recently, as they were rumored to be expressing their interest in pursuing Jalen Brunson and Donovan Mitchell this upcoming offseason.

Brunson is set to become a restricted free agent this summer, who will certainly attract plenty of suitors due to his talent and explosiveness. Meanwhile, if the Jazz decides to do a major reconstruction after this season, they may consider Mitchell as a lucrative trade piece for a rebuild.

Despite missing their captain in Luka Doncic, the Mavs tightly holds an upperhand in their best-of-seven series with Utah, 2-1, behind the brilliant performances of Brunson.

The marquee series will continue on Friday in Salt Lake City.
