Redfall Will Have Crossplay Support Across Xbox, Steam, Game Pass, and Epic Game Store

You’ll be able to play Redfall with your friends no matter what platform you’re playing on, as developer Arkane has confirmed crossplay for all platforms.

On Twitter, the official Redfall account confirmed crossplay between Xbox Series X|S, PC Game Pass, Steam, and Epic Game Store. The developers also confirmed that crossplay will work on Xbox whether you buy the full game or access it through Xbox Game Pass.

Crossplay has become a regular occurence for first-party Xbox games, as we’ve seen the feature implemented in big releases like Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5.

The news of Redfall’s crossplay support originally came in a Q&A with the developers, where Arkane also addressed difficulty scaling.

“Depending on the size of your party, you’ll see changes in the sorts of enemies you encounter, how strong they are compared to solo, and the frequency of elite traits,” Redfall community manager Richard Stanford wrote.

It won’t be long before you’re able to jump into Redfall with your vampire hunting squad, as the game is scheduled to hit Xbox and PC on May 2. Players will choose one of four protagonists to jump into the titular Redfall, Massachusetts to fight off plenty of vampires. The game will be availalbe on Game Pass on day one.
