As the Toronto Raptors assess their roster dynamics and long-term goals, the possibility of trading Pascal Siakam is gaining traction.

Mark Medina, a reputable journalist, offered insights into this potential shift, indicating that the Raptors may no longer be content with their current roster configuration for serious playoff contention.

Medina, in an exclusive conversation with GIVEMESPORT, expressed his belief that trading Siakam seems inevitable for Toronto. The team’s desire to accelerate a rebuilding process has fueled this decision, as the Raptors aim to acquire quality rotation players, expiring contracts, and draft picks through a potential trade.

During the 2022-23 season, the Cameroonian forward averaged 24.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 5.8 assists in 37.4 minutes per game for the Raptors.

However, with Siakam entering the final year of his contract and set to earn approximately $38 million, the Raptors seem poised to make a strategic move for future growth.
