Paul Pierce described how he injured his finger, explaining that a weight plate fell on his hand while he was working out in the weight room. He mentioned he was doing a plank with a 45-pound weight when it slid off, causing the injury.

“I was crushing in the weight room and a plate fell on my hand,” Pierce said. “I was doing a plank with a 45… and it slid off, smashed my hand.”
