Neymar and Marco Verratti put on the transfer list by Paris Saint-Germain – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United are expected to have a busy few months, with the transfer window fast approaching.

Clubs across Europe are plotting their summer moves with some potential big names set to become available in the market.

Erik ten Hag is keen for reinforcements across the whole of his squad, with United hoping to mount a serious title charge next season.

Top of the United manager’s wish list is a centre-forward and top quality midfield player.

Harry Kane is the number one target as far as a striker is concerned while the long-running pursuit of Frenkie de Jong is expected to continue in a bid to improve the midfield.

However, deals for both players are a far cry from being finalised with neither Spurs nor Barcelona wanting to part with their key players.

Given the difficulty of landing the aforementioned duo, United may be forced to look elsewhere to add quality to their side.

Two players that are expected to be on the move this summer are Paris Saint-Germain duo Marco Verratti and Neymar.

As reported by French media, the pair are on the transfer list with PSG looking to raise funds and balance the books.

Whilst Neymar’s talent has never been in doubt, after another season blighted by injury, Ten Hag will do well to steer clear of the Brazilian and the circus that surrounds him.

On the other hand, Verratti may prove a useful addition to the Dutchman’s midfield.

Regularly linked with a move to Old Trafford, if a deal could be struck at the right price, the Italian would provide some much needed bite in the middle of the park for United.

However, Verratti turns 31 in November and in a midfield that holds Casemiro and Christian Eriksen, it’s likely that Ten Hag will look for some fresher legs to run his engine room next season.
