Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner recently spoke about the challenges young NBA players face when dealing with high expectations and media attention.

In particular, he praised Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green for his composure and development in the face of considerable hype.

Turner’s comments came during an appearance on the “Run Your Race” podcast, where he discussed the pressure that often surrounds young talents. He singled out Green, acknowledging the difficulties of handling the spotlight at a young age.

“The one kid I will say who had a lot of that hype, and I’m actually really impressed how he’s handled it, is Jalen Green… Watching him develop into the player that he is right now, I got to give him a shout out. That’s sh*t’s hard,” Turner commented.

Green, just 21 years old, showcased his talent during his sophomore season, averaging 22.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 34.2 minutes per game.
