Brooklyn Nets small forward Mikal Bridges thought that 2023-24 was a disappointment for the team due to not making the postseason.

“You could say it’s a failure, 100%, disappointment, all that. It’s tough, especially seeing the teams that are in there and you know the talent we have and things like that. I don’t think there was a part of my body, anything in my brain that thought I’ll be sitting right here talking to you guys like this before this season.
