The Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan renowned for clinching six NBA championships in his 15-year professional tenure and acquiring the Charlotte franchise post his retirement, possesses an astounding net worth of $3.5 billion, according to Bloomberg.
According to ESPN, Jordan’s wealth saw a significant increase when he recently sold his controlling share in the Hornets for $3 billion (having purchased the Charlotte franchise for $275 million in 2010) to hedge fund tycoon Gabriel Plotkin and private equity mogul Rick Schnall.
