Maxi Kleber to miss at least 2 weeks
Dallas Mavericks big man Maxi Kleber is scheduled for a reevaluation of his dislocated right small toe in two weeks, as shared by Brad Townsend of The Dallas Morning News.
Having initially sustained the injury on November 1, Kleber has been attempting to continue playing despite the discomfort.
Following a week of rest, he made a comeback on Wednesday night, but his movement was noticeably affected, leading to a limited playing time of 15 minutes.
Subsequently, he was sidelined on Friday, and the team is exploring whether an extended period of rest can yield improvements.
“As much as we would like him to be at a high level coming back from injury, we’re just trying to get him going,” coach Jason Kidd told Townsend in a full story.
“It starts with your health before you can be at any level. Hopefully, we can get him healthy and get him to the level that we all believe he can play.”
