The Orlando Magic (4-2) showcased a dominant performance, securing an 120-101 victory against the Los Angeles Lakers (3-3), highlighted by the outstanding contributions of Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero.

Wagner’s 26-point display and Banchero’s notable 25 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds propelled the Magic to a commanding lead, overshadowing Anthony Davis’ commendable performance of 28 points, 13 rebounds, and seven blocks for the Lakers, whose struggles on the boards and turnovers proved costly throughout the game.

LeBron James contributed 24 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in 35 minutes of play for the Purple and Gold.

In light of the Lakers’ depleted roster and challenging circumstances, James drew an analogy, stating, “We’re like the Pittsburgh Steelers right now. You know what that means? The Pittsburgh Steelers right now have not out-gained or out-scored any of their opponents in this season right now and yet they got a winning record.”
