Equipped with a $160 million deal, Daniel Jones is looking to build off his breakout season and lead the Giants back to the playoffs in consecutive years for the first time since 2008. The Giants welcome the Cowboys to MetLife Stadium in Week 1. They are 3.5-point home underdogs in the NFL odds at BetMGM. The head-to-head rivalry hasn’t been too kind to the Giants of late with the Cowboys winning the last four matchups. Dallas holds the all-time overall series lead, 73-46-2.

Both teams added playmakers to their offense in the offseason. The Giants brought back running back Saquan Barkley on a one-year deal and acquired former Pro Bowl tight end Darren Waller in a trade with the Raiders. The Cowboys added wide receiver Brandin Cooks in a deal with the Texans. On the defensive side of the ball, New York signed ex-Indianapolis Colts LB Bobby Okereke, while Dallas added former Defensive Player of the Year CB Stephon Gilmore.

There’s no shortage of contenders that could reach the Super Bowl in the NFC, but coming away victorious is a scenario that’s hard to envision. Most Super Bowl betting sites tend to share that sentiment.
