Former Los Angeles Lakers guard Derek Fisher will be attempting to coach basketball at the high school level, as he has been selected as the new head coach at Crespi Carmelite High School, which is a private Catholic school located in the San Fernando Valley.

“Now, he’ll skip college (the opposite way) and try his hand at the high school ranks after being appointed the new boys basketball coach at Encino Crespi in Northern Los Angeles Monday,” wrote Tarek Fattal of Sports Illustrated.
