Kyrie Irving scored 40 points, combining for 82 points with Luka Doncic as the Mavericks defeated the 76ers (133-126).

Dallas will face Phoenix on Saturday. It will be a game between two former teammates as Irving will face Kevin Durant.

The Mavs’ superstar talked about the upcoming game against the Suns and what it means to him.

“I’m looking forward to it,” Irving said. “Playing against the new-look Suns with KD and I think it being exciting time just for us to compete against each other. It’s my brother for life. When we’re stepping out there, I’m looking forward to friendly competition.”
