Kings expected to sign Jaylen Nowell, Jeremy Lamb
The Kings are set to welcome Jaylen Nowell and Jeremy Lamb to their training camp, as per a source shared with James Ham of The Kings Beat.
Nowell, aged 24, had his first four NBA seasons with the Timberwolves after being chosen as the 43rd overall pick from Washington in 2019.
Despite achieving a career-high of 10.8 points per game in 65 matches last season, his three-point accuracy dropped to 28.9% in 2022/23 compared to 34.5% in the previous three seasons.
Sacramento recently had Nowell for a workout, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
On the other hand, Lamb, 31, a former lottery pick, has played in 573 regular season games since 2012 for four different teams, including the Kings most recently.
However, he took a break from the league in the previous season after a subpar performance in 2021/22, where he averaged 7.3 PPG with shooting percentages of .383/.324/.840 in 56 games for Indiana and Sacramento.
