The NBA slapped sanctions on Detroit Pistons guard Killian Hayes and Orlando Magic center Moritz Wagner for their key roles in a heated melee scuffle back on Wednesday.

Hayes will take a three-game suspension after punching Wagner in the head, with the big man set to serve a two-game leave after escalating the incident by pushing the Pistons guard in a battle for loose ball.

Hamidou Diallo is also suspended by one game for shoving Wagner. Meanwhile, eight other Magic players will be unavailable to play one game after leaving their bench when the altercation ultimately sparked, namely: Cole Anthony, R.J. Hampton, Gary Harris, Kevon Harris, Admiral Schofield, Franz Wagner, Mo Bamba, and Wendell Carter Jr.

Following the incident, Wagner, Hayes and Diallo were ousted out of the game by the lengthy review by the officials.

The Pistons went on to take the game over the Magic, 121-101.
