Kevin Durant after Suns’ loss: “I like the fabric of the guys”
In the highly anticipated union of Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant, injuries have thwarted the Phoenix Suns’ Big Three from dominating the Western Conference.
With Beal limited to three appearances and Booker to just two, the Suns face unexpected challenges early in the season.
In the aftermath of a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Durant, the sole constant presence in the lineup, addressed the team’s struggles.
“It’s frustrating losing games. You hate to lose, but [I’ve] been through it before,” Durant said postgame, via Duane Rankin. “You understand what needs to be done.
“You can get mad all you want, but you got to come to a solution at some point. It sucks losing games, but I like the fabric of the guys.”
Durant is averaging 30 points, 7.1 rebounds 4.6 assists in 36.7 minutes per game this season.
Phoenix is currently 9th in the Western Conference with 4 wins and 6 losses.
