Kelly Oubre Jr. reflects on “disheartening” offseason
After an impressive season with the Hornets, Kelly Oubre Jr. faced a disappointing offseason when Charlotte opted not to re-sign him, leading him to sign with the 76ers as a free agent.
Recalling the challenging free agency period, Oubre acknowledged feeling undervalued, stating, “(Free agency) was very disheartening. I guess my efforts felt as if they were a little unappreciated. I had to take that on the chin,” as revealed during an interview with Shams Charania.
As Oubre transitions to his new team, the 27-year-old shooting guard aims to channel his determination and talents to make a significant impact with the 76ers in the upcoming season.
