Kawhi Leonard sets sights on injury-free season with Clippers
As the 2023-24 NBA season approaches, Los Angeles Clippers’ star Kawhi Leonard is determined to put his injury woes behind him and make a strong comeback.
In the previous season, Leonard played in 52 regular-season games but faced a setback when he suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee during the playoffs.
Reflecting on his return after missing the entire 2021-22 season, the two-time NBA champion admitted that perhaps the comeback was a bit hasty.
“Last year, I think everybody was a little excited just by me coming back… We skipped some steps, I would say. That’s on all of us in here. The front office, me included, and the coaching staff. I think now, we see what we got,” Leonard said, per ClutchPoints.
