The Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 20 points and 6 rebounds, aiding the Dominican Republic in a 94-88 victory over Canada in a World Cup exhibition match.

Towns showcased a 6-9 field goal record, including 3-5 from beyond the arc. Additionally, he sank two pivotal free throws, securing a 91-86 lead with only 19 seconds left on the clock.

On the other hand, Lou Dort recorded 13 points and five rebounds, while Trae Bell-Haynes contributed 12 points and five rebounds. RJ Barrett and Dillon Brooks each notched 10 points for Canada.
