Joe Mazzulla on his faith: “I think it’s the most important thing”

Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla emphasized the significance of faith during a recent interview ahead of Game 3 against the Dallas Mavericks.

Before Game 2 of the NBA Finals, Mazzulla responded to a question about being one of the first Black head coaches in the NBA Finals since 1975 by saying, “I wonder how many of those have been Christian coaches.”

Ahead of Game 3, Mazzulla, reflecting on his journey, described faith as his anchor and the most crucial aspect of his life.
