Jazz made Rabbi remove “I’m a Jew” sign over Kyrie Irving’s complaint

Rabbi Avremi Zippel, an avid Jazz supporter, displayed a sign declaring, “I’m a Jew, and I’m Proud” during Monday night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks.

It is speculated that Zippel brought the sign in response to Mavericks player Kyrie Irving who posted the link to the documentary on his Twitter feed back in November 2022 when he played for the Brooklyn Nets.

Expressing deep concern, offense, and profound hurt over Irving’s previous comments about Judaism, Rabbi Avremi Zippel recounted an interaction during the game.
