Despite previous expectations of a trade, it appears that James Harden will remain with the 76ers for the upcoming season. Harden, who had opted into his contract worth $35.6 million, was anticipated to be on the move.

However, recent reports suggest that no imminent trade is on the horizon, making it increasingly likely that he will stay with the Sixers.

During an interview on the Dan Patrick Show, Dave McMenamin shared insights he gathered from conversations about Harden’s situation. “The signals right now is that he will be back with the Philadelphia 76ers,” stated McMenamin.

At present, there seems to be no momentum toward a deal with the Clippers, and the Sixers have yet to find a suitable replacement for Harden. Consequently, a pathway has emerged for his return to Philadelphia for the upcoming season.
