As Team USA secures a flawless 3-0 record in Group C at the FIBA World Cup, Jalen Brunson, the talented Knicks guard, offers insights into the tournament and the team’s approach.

Brunson, who will be celebrating his 27th birthday tomorrow, recognizes the unpredictable nature of the tournament, emphasizing the importance of staying focused on the immediate opponent.

He states, “The tournament is crazy. Anything can happen. The most important thing is you have to focus on the opponent in front of you. You can’t focus on what’s happening in other groups or who can be where or what. Just focusing on what we can control. A lot of good teams, a lot of good players here… For us, it’s all about putting egos aside. We want to win.”

Brunson averages 11 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 20.8 minutes per game for Team USA.

The Americans will play against Montenegro and Lithuania in the second round.
