Ivica Zubac: Russell Westbrook is complete opposite of what was said about him
Russell Westbrook had been betting bad press while he was on the Lakers. At one point a report came out suggesting that the former NBA MVP is vampire in locker room.
Clippers center Ivica Zubac got to experience for himself what it is like being teammates with Westbrook when he signed with the team after clearing waivers with the Jazz.
“We knew what was said about him and everything,” the Zubac said about Westbrook. “And when he came over here, it’s complete opposite of who he is.
“He’s a great dude, a great leader, always happy, always positive, helping everyone on the court, helped me a lot. He leads us on and off the court. He’s a great dude.
“So we just wanted to prove everyone wrong, prove all those rumors, all that stuff that was said about him wrong. It just makes it better that it came in the biggest game of the season.”
