In-Season Tournament Final draws 4.6M viewers

The Los Angeles Lakers’ win against the Indiana Pacers in the In-Season Tournament Final attracted a viewership of 4.6 million on ABC/ESPN2.

This game marked the highest viewership for a non-playoff, non-Christmas Day game since 2018.

Compared to last season’s NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC average, the audience for the NBA In-Season Tournament Championship Game increased by 64 percent.

Reports suggest that the NBA is exploring selling the In-Season Tournament to a streaming company as an independent media rights package.
