In the opening round of the upcoming EuroLeague season on Friday, Olympiacos Piraeus is set to take on Panathinaikos Athens, but they’ll be facing the challenge without two key players.

Alongside the already ruled-out Moustapha Fall, Ignas Brazdeikis will also be absent from the clash.

Despite efforts to recuperate from injuries sustained during the 2023 FIBA World Cup, the Lithuanian wing hasn’t reached full fitness in time for the game.

As for Fall, he has been grappling with MCL pain and has been limited to individual practice sessions throughout the week.
