The Heat’s management, led by Pat Riley, has arranged a meeting with point guard Gabe Vincent this week in Southern California, as reported by Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

The Heat expressed their desire to bring the 27-year-old player back to the team, but the outcome remains uncertain due to financial considerations.

Vincent, coming off a breakout season, averaged career-high 9.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 25.9 minutes per game, playing a crucial role in the Heat’s journey to the NBA Finals. His number went up to 12.7 points, 1.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 30.5 minutes per game in the playoffs.

As an unrestricted free agent, Vincent’s value has risen significantly, potentially leading to a competitive market for his services. Miami aims to retain the talented guard, but the final decision will depend on how the market unfolds.
