Grizzlies secure second win, Clippers continue struggle with James Harden

In a hard-fought battle, the Memphis Grizzlies (2-8) claimed their second victory of the season, defeating the struggling Los Angeles Clippers (3-6) 105-101 on Sunday.

Despite missing star Ja Morant, serving a 25-game suspension, the Grizzlies showcased resilience, securing both wins on the road.

Desmond Bane led the charge with 27 points, steering Memphis to victory, while Luke Kennard, facing his former team, contributed 13 points off the bench.

Paul George’s 26-point effort and Norman Powell’s 20 points weren’t enough for the Clippers, who suffered their fifth consecutive loss and their first at home in four games.

James Harden, newly acquired by the Clippers, scored 11 points, including a crucial tying 3-pointer in the closing minutes.
