Erik ten Hag takes charge of first Man United training session

Premier League giants Manchester United have, on Monday, taken to social media, to showcase the scenes at the club’s training ground over the course of the day.

This comes with Erik ten Hag having taken charge of his first official session as Red Devils head coach.

Dutchman ten Hag has, of course, been chosen as the man to oversee a much-needed revolution at Old Trafford over the seasons to come.

United, once so widely revered as one of world football’s leading clubs, have seen their status amongst the game’s elite increasingly called into question of late, owing to a string of sub-par campaigns both domestically and on the continent.

Ten Hag, the man behind that odds-defying Ajax outfit of 2018-19, has, in turn, been handed the reins on the red half of Manchester, tasked with a frankly mammoth job.

And, as alluded to above, precisely that was kicked into gear earlier today.

This came as United’s new boss was given his first opportunity to run the rule over some of the talent set to be at his disposal next season.

As showcased in the images below, with the likes of Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw in attendance, ten Hag oversaw his maiden training session at Carrington, setting the stage for what all associated with the club will be hopeful proves a campaign to remember in 2022/23:
