Dennis Schroder displeased with Celtics’ “disrespectful” late challenge in 27-point win

In a dominant 117-94 victory against the Raptors, the Celtics’ decision to challenge a call late in the game sparked controversy.

When the challenge was called, Boston led by 27 points with 3:39 on the clock in the fourth quarter.

Raptors’ point guard Dennis Schroder voiced his displeasure, considering the challenge disrespectful with a substantial lead.

Gary Washburn reported Schroder’s response: “Up 30 you’re not supposed to challenge nothing. You won, it’s three minutes left. You shouldn’t disrespect us like that.”
