Chelsea can turn bad start around in winnable run of games – Talk Chelsea

Chelsea fans are in a low moment right now. Most of us really let ourselves believe this summer that Mauricio Pochettino was going to turn things around, and that the Argentine coach, helped by a host of new players, was going to usher in a new era at Stamford Bridge after a couple of bleak years.

Instead, it’s been just more of the same. The defeats to West Ham and Nottingham Forest had all of the same ingredients as so many of the shameful displays last season. We wouldn’t blame any fan for throwing in the towel now and predicting another season of inefficiency in front of goal, and big mistakes at the back.

The pundits have given up on us, as have the bookies. Talk of a title charge faded almost instantly, and now even finishing in the top 4 looks a stretch. The good mood present in preseason has evaporated, and the same injury problems are back to haunt us again.

If you want to really prove you still believe however, you should head over to The Punters Page and find some good bonuses, then go and put a sensible amount of money on the Blues to start racking up the wins.

Those recent problems listed above have us at surprisingly long odds for our next 4 Premier League games, despite some easier opposition. That makes it the perfect time to capitalise and back Pochettino to get things right in the next fortnight.

The stats are massively in our favour – we have the most possession in the Premier League, the most shots and the most touches. We’re just not turning that into goals. If you think we’re about to regress to the mean and see that goals stat jump back up to where it should be, now’s the time to lump on.

After the break we play Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Burnley and Fulham. All of those teams have looked pretty leaky so far this season, and if we can just get a couple of things to drop our way, it’s easy to see us scoring 3 goals in any of those games.

So if you want to prove you’ve still got full confidence in Pochettino’s plan coming together, why not back Chelsea -1 in each of the four. You’ll get great odds, and in a month’s time, when we reach the next international break, you could be sitting on some nice winnings as well as getting the satisfaction of watching Chelsea likely sitting pretty in the European places where they belong.
