New York Knicks legend Charles Oakley heaped praise on the team’s point guard Jalen Brunson, placing him among the Knicks’ greats.
According to him, Brunson is ahead of New York icons such as Patrick Ewing and Carmelo Anthony because of he is able to lead the team, despite missing support from Julius Randle.
“Brunson is the best thing since Walt Frazier,” Oakley said on SiriusXM NBA Radio. “I know somebody gonna say, ‘What about Patrick [Ewing] and Carmelo [Anthony]?’ Ok, they didn’t do this.
