The singer had said in a Q&A session with her fans in August that her pregnancy was not planned. “We were very, very surprised,” she said. “As you know, I had been telling Eric it was probably time to get a vasectomy because I felt like we were done. I just feel like God always has other plans. So, it was extremely shocking and surprising.”

Eric, she said, initially thought she was kidding when she told him she was pregnant. “He thought I was playing a joke on him because you guys know I’m such a jokester,” she shared. “But I would never joke about something like this.”

But after the couple welcomes baby No. 4, they’re done having kids, Jessie said in October. “We’re definitely not going for a fifth,” she told E! News at the time. “I don’t see five in the cards at all. I always felt a fourth, so it makes sense.”

The Duggar family is growing once again.

Counting On star Jeremiah Duggar and his wife, Hannah Duggar, are expecting their second child. The pair announced the news Nov. 18.

“Life just keeps getting sweeter!” the couple captioned an Instagram pic showing Hannah holding up a sonogram while appearing with her husband and their daughter Brynley Noelle Duggar, 10 months. “#thebestdays #sograteful.”

Several members of Jeremiah’s family expressed their well-wishes in the comments section on the post. Jill Duggar Dillard commented, “Congratulations!!!” while Jessa Duggar Seewald posted two heart eyes emojis.

Jeremiah and Hannah married in March 2022, three months after announcing they were engaged. They welcomed their daughter last Christmas Day.

“After an incredible year, God gave us a precious Christmas gift to top it all off!!” Jeremiah wrote on Instagram at the time, sharing the couple’s first pic of Brynley. “Baby girl decided to arrive early and we are totally and completely in love with our little Brynley Noelle. 12.25.22 • 6lbs 15oz • 19.5 in.”

Diddy, 54, looked stressed and solemn in new photos taken just one day after his ex Cassie, 37, revealed they “amicably” settled a lawsuit she filed against him. The rapper was sitting outside his Star Island mansion in Miami, FL with with his longtime chief of staff on Saturday, as they had what looked like a serious conversation, in the new photos, which were posted by TMZ. They both wore casual outfits during the outing and he was sipping on a beverage.

At one point, Diddy put his head in his hands and looked down at the ground as he seemed to think deep thoughts. After a while, he got up and went back inside his home.

The photos come after Cassie, whom he dated for 11 years, accused Diddy of alleged rape and abuse “for over a decade.” She filed a lawsuit regarding the claims in Federal District Court in New York City, NY on November 16 and released a statement to The New York Times shortly after. “After years in silence and darkness I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships,” she said in the statement.

The court documents claimed that after she met Diddy in 2005, he developed a “pattern of control” over her. The outlet also reported that Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura, alleged that the award-winning hitmaker would ply her “with drugs” in addition to allegedly “beating her.” She also accused him of allegedly “forcing her to have sex” with “male prostitutes” and that he allegedly would film the “encounters.”

Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, quickly denied the claims via his lawyer Ben Brafman. “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations,” the legal rep said. “For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail. Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’s reputation and seeking a payday.”

On November 17, Cassie publicly announced she and Diddy settled the lawsuit. “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” she said in a statement, per ABC News. “I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”

Diddy also gave a similar statement. “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love,” it read.

He’s Jared Leto, Oscar-winning actor and…the Lord?

The Dallas Buyers Club star has for years occasionally drawn physical comparisons on social media to Scott Disick. On Nov. 17, the Kardashians star shared on his Instagram Stories a recent interview on Sirius XM’s TikTok Radio, in which host Davis Burleson asked Leto for his thoughts about a TikTok that he said featured a girl who was convinced that he and the Kardashians star are twins.

“Wow,” the Suicide Squad actor said, appearing to be dazed by the question.

After Burleson said the two looked “identical,” Leto responded, “Really? Lucky me,” and after a pause, added, “Thank you.”

When asked if he saw the resemblance,” the 51-year-old said, “I don’t know. It’s hard when you look at yourself. But they do say that people who look alike actually share a lot of DNA, sometimes. You know, if there’s someone like, ‘Oh my god, you look exactly like this guy,’ you actually might be related somehow.”

Leto continued, “So that would be nice. Because then I would have a rich relative. Because he’s very wealthy, right? Yeah, that would be nice.”

Halle Bailey, 23, is clapping back after one fan commented that she has “pregnancy nose,” in a new post. The actress, who is rumored to be expecting a child with her boyfriend DDG, took to Instagram to reply to the comment with a video that expressed her frustration about the critics and warned them to stop talking about her nose.

“If I see one more person say something about my nose one more time, it’s gonna be hell to pay,” she said in the clip, which was reposted by The Shade Room below. “And you know why? Cause I am black. I love my nose. [What are you] concerned about my nose for? Leave me the hell alone!”

Once Halle posted the video, fans further speculated that she could be pregnant since she didn’t directly address the rumors and filmed herself from the neck up. “Her addressing the nose but not the pregnancy part tells me everything I need to know!” one fan wrote in a comment on the reposted video. “Girl it ain’t just the nose, you got that out of breath pregnant voice too. ” another wrote.

Pregnancy rumors about Halle first started in August when she was seen on her beau’s livestream. The rumors went on a month later when she showed up to the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in a flowy dress that could hide a baby bump. An onlooker also told Page Six that she seemed to be careful when interacting with others and taking photos.

“Halle stayed away from the pink carpet so she would not be photographed, and when she was inside, she was very mindful in the way she gave hugs, and who she gave them to,” the onlooker said.

Another outing that caused pregnancy speculation was one Halle went on with DDG, whom she’s been dating since last year, in October. She wore a baggy outfit that included an oversized hoodie and sweatpants as they spent time in Santa Monica, CA.

Former first lady Rosalynn Carter died at her home in Plains, GA at the age of 96 on November 19, according to The Carter Center. Just two days before, she had entered hospice care, six months after it was announced that she was diagnosed with dementia on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. The Carter Center revealed the former first lady’s diagnosis also came just three months after her husband, former President Jimmy Carter, 99, was in hospice care. The Carter Center also revealed that the family hoped that sharing Carter’s diagnosis would keep families having “important conversations” both with their loved ones and doctors.

While The Carter Center didn’t share many details about the former first lady’s diagnosis or how long she’s been struggling with dementia, at the time of the announcement, many shared well wishes for her on social media. “We do not expect to comment further and ask for understanding for our family and for everyone across the country serving in a caregiver role,” The Carter Center said in a statement.

On November 17, 2023, news emerged that she entered hospice care alongside her husband at their home in Georgia and two days later, her passing, which happened when she was surrounded by family, was announced.

Rosalynn Carter Diagnosed With Dementia

Rosalynn’s family shared a statement, explaining that she was diagnosed with dementia through the Carter Center, but they said that she seemed in good spirits. “The Carter family is sharing that former First Lady Rosalynn Carter has dementia,” they said.

The center continued and spoke about the former first lady’s own philosophy about caregiving. “As the founder of the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers, Mrs. Carter often noted that there are only four kinds of people in this world: those who have been caregivers; those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers, and those who will need caregivers. The universality of caregiving is clear in our family, and we are experiencing the joy and the challenges of this journey,” they said.

What Is Dementia?

Dementia is a generalized term for memory loss, but many different diseases may cause it, most commonly Alzheimer’s, per the National Institute on Aging. The Carter Center did not reveal what type of dementia the first lady was diagnosed with. The forms of dementia that people can experience can progress as time goes on, beginning with forgetfulness such as short-term memory, but it can cause people to become more reliant on others to keep track of different functions of life, per the Alzheimer’s Association. 

Dementia is caused by damage to brain cells and neurons which can make thinking more difficult. Symptoms vary from case to case, but they include memory loss, confusion, getting lost in familiar areas, repeating phrases and questions, acting impulsively, and more.

How Long Has Carter Been Sick?

It’s not clear how long Carter had been battling dementia, but the family released a statement revealing that she had been diagnosed on May 30, 2023. Besides dementia, Carter had a few other health issues in her lifetime. In April 1977, she had a nonmalignant breast tumor removed, during her husband’s presidency, per The New York Times. She also underwent an hour-long gynecological surgery in August 1977. Not many details were shared, but it was said that it was a “routine” surgery and a “private matter,” per The Washington Post. 

What are the Details About Carter’s Death?

As The Carter Center revealed in their statement, Rosalynn “continued to live happily at home with her husband, enjoying spring in Plains and visits with loved ones” before her passing. The news about the former first lady’s diagnosis came months after the Carter Center revealed that her husband Jimmy Carter had started receiving hospice care on February 18, 2023. “After a series of short hospital stays, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter today decided to spend his remaining time at home with his family and receive hospice care instead of additional medical intervention,” they said in a statement.

As the statement about Rosalynn continued, the Carter Center mentioned the former first lady’s legacy as a mental health advocate and hoped that sharing her diagnosis would help inspire others who may be struggling. “We recognize, as she did more than half a century ago, that stigma is often a barrier that keeps individuals and their families from seeking and getting much-needed support. We hope sharing our family’s news will increase important conversations at kitchen tables and in doctor’s offices around the country,” they said.

On November 17, 2023, the Carter Center released a statement via social media announcing that Rosalynn had entered hospice care. “On behalf of Jason Carter, grandson of President and Mrs. Carter: Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter has entered hospice care at home. She and President Carter are spending time with each other and their family,” the Twitter statement read. “The Carter family continues to ask for privacy and remains grateful for the outpouring of love and support.”

On November 19, 2023, the family announced Rosalynn had passed away at the age of 96, and both her husband and son Chip released touching statements. “Rosalynn was my equal partner in everything I ever accomplished,” President Carter said, the Carter Center shared. “She gave me wise guidance and encouragement when I needed it. As long as Rosalynn was in the world, I always knew somebody loved and supported me.”

“Besides being a loving mother and extraordinary First Lady, my mother was a great humanitarian in her own right,” her son Chip also said in a statement. “Her life of service and compassion was an example for all Americans. She will be sorely missed not only by our family but by the many people who have better mental health care and access to resources for caregiving today.”

The Carters spent their earliest days as husband and wife at the Naval base in Norfolk, Va., where Jimmy was gone most of the week on assignments and Rosalynn enjoyed a crash course in homemaking. 

Their first child, son John William “Jack” Carter, was born July 3, 1947, so the couple celebrated their first anniversary at the hospital as a family of three. The following year, Jimmy was selected for submarine school in New London, Conn., and finally had regular hours so he could be home each night with his wife and child.

They welcomed son James Earl “Chip” Carter III on April 12, 1950, while they were living in Hawaii. Then it was onto San Diego, Calif., then back to New London—where son Donnel Jeffrey “Jeff” Carter was born Aug. 18, 1952—and then they moved to Schenectady, N.Y., so Jimmy could study nuclear power at Union College.

Rosalynn has said that she planned on being a Navy wife, moving from city to city and seeing the world with her husband. Which she ultimately did, but not in the way she ever would have imagined. 

Jimmy was working toward a post on a nuclear submarine, but when his father died in 1953, he took leave and went back to Plains with his wife and sons to look after his family’s peanut farm. Rosalynn hadn’t intended on ending up right back where she started (She was “astounded and furious,” Jimmy wrote in A Full Life), but eventually the Carters’ partnership extended to running the farm, too.

“I knew more on paper about the business than he did,” Rosalynn told the Associated Press in 2021 ahead of their 75th wedding anniversary. “He would take my advice about things.”

By the early 1960s they had acquired 3,200 acres of land and their supply business, Carter’s Warehouse, was a one-stop shop for local farmers. 

Rosalynn was born Eleanor Rosalynn Smith in 1927 in Plains, Georgia. She graduated Georgia Southwestern College in 1946. Later that year, she married her husband, who had just graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy. She was 18 and he was 21 at the time. They were the longest-married presidential couple.

Throughout her life, Rosalynn was an advocate of mental health, caregiving and equal rights.

She also championed immunizing children against preventable disease. When her husband was president amid a measles outbreak, she worked to make vaccinations a routine public health practice and by 1981, 95 percent of children entering school were immunized against measles and other diseases, according to her bio on her memorial tribute site.

In 1982, the Carters founded the Carter Center, which aims to “improve lives by resolving conflicts; advancing democracy and preventing diseases,” according to its mission statement.

Five years later, Rosalynn founded the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers at Georgia Southwestern State University. In 2000, the Carter Center and Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health established the Rosalynn Carter Endowed Chair in Mental Health, the first endowed chair in mental health policy at a school of public health.

According to the Carter Center, when asked once how she would like to be remembered, Rosalynn said, “I would like for people to think that I took advantage of the opportunities I had and did the best I could.”

The family released a statement on May 30, 2023. “The Carter family is sharing that former First Lady Rosalynn Carter has dementia. She continues to live happily at home with her husband, enjoying spring in Plains and visits with loved ones,” they said.

Her death also came after her husband had announced that he was receiving hospice care in February 2023. “After a series of short hospital stays, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter today decided to spend his remaining time at home with his family and receive hospice care instead of additional medical intervention. He has the full support of his family and his medical team. The Carter family asks for privacy during this time and is grateful for the concern shown by his many admirers,” the Carter Center said in a statement.

Carter had no intention of being a traditional first lady, rather taking an active role in national politics and working on her passion: mental health advocacy. She was a force to be reckoned with, a fierce activist and an award-winning volunteer who stood by her husband for more than 70 years of marriage. When Jimmy Carter became Governor of Georgia in 1970, she forged her own path that led to a lifetime of service.

Carter was appointed to the Governor’s Commission to Improve Services for the Mentally and Emotionally Handicapped and spent her time as Georgia’s first lady working with mentally disabled children — something she called her “proudest achievement” in 1982. She was also an honorary chairperson for the Georgia Special Olympics.

She brought that passion for mental health advocacy to the White House with her in 1977. While campaigning for her husband, Carter was elected to the board of directors of the National Association of Mental Health. During her first interview as first lady she spoke about her agenda: “For every person who needs mental health care to be able to receive it close to his home, and to remove the stigma from mental health care so people will be free to talk about it and seek help. It’s been taboo for so long to admit you had a mental health problem,” she told The New York Times.

Carter took an active role in politics, as well, even sitting in on some Cabinet meetings. She explained at the time that, “I was there to be informed so that when I traveled across the country, which I did a great deal, and was questioned by the press and other individuals about all areas of government, I’d know what was going on.” Carter was the first, first lady to have an office in the East Wing. She was integral in the passage of the Equal Rights Amendment.

Rosalynn and Jimmy Carter were married in 1946, and are parents to their four children and grandparents to their 22 grandchildren as well as great grandparents to great grandchildren. Until the end, she served on the board of trustees for the Carter Center, the non-profit she and her husband founded in 1981 after leaving the White House. She continued her work with the mentally ill, founding the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving (RCI) at Georgia Southwestern State University. She served as the president of the board of directors.

Tori Spelling, 50, isn’t too happy about estranged husband Dean McDermott‘s recent tell-all interview about their life together and their split, according to Entertainment Tonight. It ended up with me drinking a fifth of tequila every night, seven days a week, and a handful of narcos by myself with a beautiful family in the other room. That’s what it led to, and that’s what led to the brokenness and to what happened between me and Tori.”

Amid his rough days, Dean spent 40 days in a California rehab facility and currently lives in a sober house with eight other men. Meanwhile, Tori and the kids moved into a motel, an RV, and then a $18,000/per month rental home since the split, which was announced in summ. The former lovebirds were married for 17 years.
