Why Tristan Thompson Is Suspended From the NBA for 25 Games

The NBA has officially benched Tristan Thompson.

On Jan. 23, the league announced that the Cleveland Cavaliers player has been suspended without pay for 25 games for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program by “testing positive for ibutamoren and SARM LGD-4033,” both of which can be used as performance enhancers and are banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency.

Tristan’s suspension officially begins on Jan. 24 with his team’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The 32-year-old has yet to publicly comment on this setback. E! News has reached out to his rep for comment as well as the Cavaliers but has not yet heard back.

Tristan, who shares kids True Thompson, 5, and Tatum Thompson, 18 months, with ex Khloe Kardashian, rejoined his former NBA team in September on a one-year contract, the league previously reported

The center was drafted by the Cavaliers in 2011 and remained with the team for nine years until his 2020 departure for the Boston Celtics. Since that time, Tristan—who is also dad to sons Prince, 7, and Theo, 2—played for the Sacramento Kings, the Indiana Pacers, the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers before returning to the Cavs.

RHOBH’s Crystal Said What About Her Fellow Housewives?!

Crystal Kung Minkoff is in hot water.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is accused of saying some super shady things about her costars in E! News’ exclusive sneak peek at the Bravo series’ Jan. 24 episode.

The one spilling the tea? Season 13 newbie Annemarie Wiley, who quickly clashed with Crystal after joining the show.

“The first time that Crystal and I met was at a mutual friend’s house around the holidays,” Annemarie says in the preview. “The first thing that Crystal said to me about this group of women was that you ladies were not intelligent, nobody was educated and you’re very shallow.”

While the allegation leaves the cast shocked, a heated Crystal denies bad-mouthing her fellow Housewives.

“Shallow and uneducated?!” she fires back. “That’s ridiculous!”

In a confessional Dorit Kemsley hilariously claps back at Crystal’s alleged digs.

“You’re nowhere near more educated than the rest us,” Dorit deadpans. “By the way, child bride, while you were getting married at 12, the rest of us were building businesses, graduating college. Doing things, you know, to educate ourselves.”

Love Is Blind Contestant Spots This Red Flag in Season 6 Teaser

Even when love is blind, red flags aren’t hard to see.

At least, that seems to be the case in the Love is Blind season six trailer, which Netflix dropped Jan. 23. At one point during the clip, contestant Amber Desiree, aka “AD,” walked out on a pod date after getting a deal-breaking question from another single.

The male contestant asked the 32-year-old real estate broker, “How many followers do you have on Instagram?”

But other hopeful singles are faring better in their quest for the one. In the teaser, one woman told a supportive female contestant through happy tears, “I just love him so much.”

Dropping Feb. 14, Love is Blind season six will follow 30 singles from Charlotte, N.C., who are looking to meet their future spouses. Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, the show will bring together contestants from a wide range of professional backgrounds, from 25-year-old makeup artist Brittany to 34-year-old “cloud solutions architect” Ben.

Is Common Ready for Marriage With Jennifer Hudson? He Says…

Common never knew a love like this.

Not long after confirming his relationship with Jennifer Hudson, the Grammy winner revealed if he’s ready to walk down the aisle.

“I feel like I have grown and the work that I have done on myself has allowed me to see that I am a marrying type,” Common explained on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna Jan. 22. “I’m capable and I have the capacity, and if at some point in my life I may want to do that, I would know when the right time is.”

And the 51-year-old, who has never been married, has chosen to let his faith navigate him in those decisions.

“For me, everything is divine,” he said. “I work from that discernment that God speaks—when He speaks into your stomach and you feel it in your heart and your spirit, so when I would feel that, I will communicate with that person and if she’s feeling that, then why not?”

The Miracle Hair Cream That Saves Curls from Hot & Humid Weather

We independently selected these deals and products because we love them, and we think you might like them at these prices. After years of being in a constant battle with my curly hair and the hot humid weather of Florida, I think I finally did it girlies. I found the miracle curly hair product that conquered anything the Miami tropical weather threw at it, from 90-degree heat (during the supposed “winter” season I might add) to the dripping wet humidity, just by using this hair cream, my hair actually stayed put. And for my curly hair girlies out there, that’s saying A LOT in this type of weather. I think most can relate to the fact that we have to get used to our curls poofing up and getting Hermione Granger-like frizzy just by walking out our front door and taking a few steps to the car. No matter what oil, spray, cream, or mousse I used, nothing would beat the brutal Miami heat (while maintaining my curls’ natural non-crunchy state IYKYK). That was…until I finally tested this incredible Korean-based hair product—the British M Airy Wave Cream.

As a Commerce writer, my whole job consists of testing products left and right, and every now and then there are a few products that completely change my life—this hair cream being one of them. When it comes to the curl scale, my natural curls fall between a mix of 3B and 3A curl types (thanks to my hair-damaging teen years). So, while the product is marketed towards more loose/wavy curls, if you have similar hair to mine, then I can guarantee It’ll also do the job for you.

After a month of applying the wave cream and testing how it looks after air-drying my hair or diffusing my curls, I can officially mark this product as E! editor-approved. I wish you saw how shocked I was at how incredible it worked in battling frizziness and keeping my curls defined throughout the entire day. This product was also tested on my sister’s 2B/2C wavy hair, so I could see how well the product worked on a slightly less defined curl—which still resulted in an incredible non-frizzy outcome too. Not to mention its literal almost too-good-to-use scent that makes you smell like a citrusy, tropical paradise. I’m serious, you’re going to smell like a fresh and clean SNACK.

So, if you’re ready to get your hands on the lightweight miracle hair product that keeps your curls defined, voluptuous, and frizz-free, keep scrolling for the Korean-based product that’ll save your hair from the heat. You can thank me later besties.

Girl of the 21st Century Facts

18. Phillip didn’t have a lot of time to practice the song before performing it for the space station concert scene.

“I think I got the song maybe the night before,” the actor told PeopleTV. “The choreographer was, I think, Michael Jackson’s choreographer.”

And, admittedly, dancing wasn’t exactly Phillip’s forte. “I’m not much of a dancer,” he continued. “I had two left feet. So I was trying to remember the song that I’d just been given plus these dance moves.”

19. While it’s hard to imagine Proto Zoa without his signature spikes, the ‘do wasn’t always part of the plan.

“I wanted to do something different, so we did the peroxide blonde thing, spiky hair thing,” Phillip added. “It wasn’t written that way actually.”

20. If you’ve orbited through all the Zenon movies, then you know Phillip was in the first and second films but not the third. The reason?

“I was shooting Nip/Tuck at the time, and…I was committed to it,” Phillip told HuffPost in 2018. “It was Ryan Murphy’s first big thing, and I just couldn’t leave, really.”

As a result, Nathan Anderson replaced him for Z3. And it looks like Phillip is a fan.

“I met him via a friend, and he’s a lovely guy,” he added. “That’s not easy taking over the role. He’s American. He had to do an English accent as well. That’s tough, just not fair.”

21. “Supernova Girl” wasn’t the only soundtrack hit. Along with Donald Markowitz, Stu wrote “The Galaxy Is Ours” for The Zequelnoting it’s the only songwriting credit in his career.
