Philadelphia 76ers guard Cameron Payne was arrested in Arizona on Friday morning after allegedly providing false information to officers, TMZ Sports reports.
The Scottsdale Police Department responded to a disturbance around 2:44 AM and encountered Payne and another person. Though specific details are unclear, Payne was arrested for refusing to give a truthful name and making a false report.
The 29-year-old NBA player was released from custody shortly afterward.
