Indiana Pacers wing Bennedict Mathurin will be sidelined for the rest of the season due to a torn labrum in his right shoulder. Despite this setback, Mathurin is anticipated to be fully recovered and ready to play at the commencement of the 2024-25 season.

Throughout his second season, Mathurin showcased significant progress in 59 games, with 19 starts. Standing at 6 feet 6 inches, the wing player demonstrated improvements in various aspects of his game, averaging 14.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.
