Free-agent swingman Ben McLemore has agreed to a one-year deal with Shandong Heroes of the Chinese Basketball Association, per HoopsHype’s Mike Scotto.

McLemore, 29, is a former lottery pick of the 2013 Draft out of Kansas. He spent nine seasons in the NBA, suiting up for the Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazers.

Last season with the Blazers, he averaged 10.2 points and 1.6 boards, shooting 40.1 percent from the field across 64 games played.

In hopes to continue his appearance in the league, the veteran participated in recent workouts last offseason, notably with the Golden State Warriors.

As such, McLemore will explore Chinese basketball leaving an NBA career average of 9.0 points, 2.3 boards, 41.2 percent field goal shooting and 36.2 percent efficiency in the three-point distance in 556 total contests.
