When asked what spy skills they’d like to have in real life, the two initially responded with stealth and invisibility. But soon, Kaley and Zosia’s answers turned into a hilarious conversation about superpowers.

After Zosia stated she would like the ability to intercept people’s minds, Kaley said, “I wanna be able to move things with my eyeballs.”

Zosia continued, “Well, I’d like to fly.”

“Well, I’d like to be able to breathe underwater,” Kaley said. Her answer piqued her co-star’s interest, as Zosia responded, “Okay, me too.”

Opinion | Amanda Gorman Poem: Hymn for the Hurting

Everything hurts,
Our hearts shadowed and strange,
Minds made muddied and mute.
We carry tragedy, terrifying and true.
And yet none of it is new;
We knew it as home,
As horror,
As heritage.
Even our children
Cannot be children,
Cannot be.

Everything hurts.
It’s a hard time to be alive,
And even harder to stay that way.
We’re burdened to live out these days,
While at the same time, blessed to outlive them.

This alarm is how we know
We must be altered —
That we must differ or die,
That we must triumph or try.
Thus while hate cannot be terminated,
It can be transformed
Into a love that lets us live.

May we not just grieve, but give:
May we not just ache, but act;
May our signed right to bear arms
Never blind our sight from shared harm;
May we choose our children over chaos.
May another innocent never be lost.

Maybe everything hurts,
Our hearts shadowed & strange.
But only when everything hurts
May everything change.

Kellen Mond’s dad explains why QB was in Mike Zimmer’s doghouse

This is why Kellen Mond was placed in Mike Zimmer’s Minnesota Vikings doghouse last year.

Let’s just say Kellen Mond and Mike Zimmer were not finishing each others … sandwiches during his rookie season with the Minnesota Vikings.

Mond was a seasoned starter for years playing under Jimbo Fisher’s watch at Texas A&M. In his final year at College Station, the Aggies were one game away from reaching the College Football Playoff for the first time ever. Mond was picked by the Vikings in day two of the 2021 NFL Draft, but Mond’s father Kevin claims that the former head coach had it out for his son from the start.

Here is what Kevin Mond told Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press about this situation.

“Kellen was in (Zimmer’s) doghouse from the start because of the draft & then No. 2 the COVID … He wasn’t going to give him the time & Zimmer not playing him at the end of the year (last game) was personally to me Zimmer just sticking his thumb at Spielman.”

Zimmer and former Vikings general manager Rick Spielman were let go at the end of the season after the Vikings failed to qualify for the NFC playoffs yet again. Kevin O’Connell and Kwesi Adofo-Mensah replaced the duo this offseason, respectively. With O’Connell being the former offensive coordinator with the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams, this does give Mond’s camp hope.

Either way, things will be different in the Twin Cities for its beloved professional football franchise.

Kellen Mond’s father Kevin explains Mike Zimmer’s beef with his Vikings QB son

It is pretty clear that Zimmer did get along with hardly any of his quarterbacks. Mond may have been in his doghouse, but Zimmer did get into a not-so-playful celebratory post-game shoving match with Kirk Cousins. No matter the instigator, it was abundantly clear that Zimmer did not like that. All the while, his Vikings underachieved once again and that is why the Zimmer era is so over.

Even though Cousins should be the unquestioned starter Week 1 in Minneapolis, it is not like O’Connell and Adofo-Mensah drafted him either. While Minnesota should push for a playoff spot this year, it does not serve either new pillar of the Vikings organization to be overly committed to Cousins if he stinks. Cousins will have to screw up alright, but Mond can compete for them this fall.

Frankly, there were reasons why Mond was not the sixth quarterback taken in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He may have had ample starting experience in college, but did not really put it all together until his senior season, which was played during a COVID season. Mond does offer a ton of promise, but he has to earn his playing time, and not get reps by strictly playing daddyball.

No doubt, this is a big offseason for Mond to prove to everyone he can start games in this league.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Announced, First Trailer and 2023 Release Revealed

The first trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor premiered as part of Star Wars Celebration. The sequel to Respawn’s critically-acclaimed Star Wars game is set to be released in 2023.

In a brief, cinematic trailer we see Cal Kestis after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order. Where he is still on the run from the Empire. While the trailer is short on plot, it’s got plenty of Star Wars with new inquisitors and new mysteries.

Curiously, Cal who spent the previous game gaining a family of allies is all alone. And his lightsaber which he spent so much time rebuilding appears to fall into the hands of the Empire. Essentially, Cal is in a bad place at the start of Jedi: Survivor.

Respawn’s next Star Wars action RPG will be released on next-gen platforms PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. EA doesn’t make mention of past-gen consoles, but with developers moving towards new-gen systems there’s a good chance Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is too.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Reveal Trailer Screenshots

The trailer premiered during Star Wars Celebration amid the buzz of new trailers for upcoming Star Wars shows like Andor, and Mandalorian season 3.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was one of the best-reviewed games when it was released, and a big coup for Respawn who were primarily known for their online multiplayer games like Titanfall and Apex Legends. By combining Star Wars with a deep single-player story campaign and Souls-like action RPG mechanics, Respawn brought Star Wars into the modern era. Check out IGN’s review for Jedi: Fallen Order here.

3 metrics contrarian crypto investors use to know when to buy Bitcoin

Buying low and selling high is easier said than done, especially when emotion and volatile markets are thrown into the mix. Historically speaking, the best deals are to be found when there is “blood on the streets,” but the danger of catching a falling knife usually keeps most investors planted on the sidelines.

The month of May has been especially challenging for crypto holders because Bitcoin (BTC) dropped to a low of $26,782, and some analysts are now predicting a sub-$20,000 BTC price in the near future. It’s times like these when fear is running rampant that the contrarian investor looks to establish positions in promising assets before the broader market comes to its senses.

Here’s a look at several indicators that contrarian-minded investors can use to spot opportune moments for opening positions ahead of the next marketwide rally.

The Crypto Fear & Greed Index

The Crypto Fear & Greed index is a well-known measure of market sentiment that most investors use to crowd-forecast the near future of the market. If viewed purely at face value, an “extreme fear” reading, such as the current sentiment, is meant to signal to stay out of the market and preserve capital.

The index can actually be used as a market indicator, a point noted by analysts at the cryptocurrency intelligence firm Jarvis Labs.

One of the biggest factors that can help the index rise is an increase in price. Jarvis Labs backtested the idea of buying when the index falls below a certain threshold and then selling when it reaches a predetermined high.

For this test, an index score of 10 was chosen for the low threshold, while scores of 35, 50 and 65 were chosen as sell points.

When this method was backtested, results showed that the shorter time-frame option of selling once the index surpassed 35, as represented by the yellow line in the chart above, provided the best results. This method provided an annual average return of 14.6% and a cumulative return of 133.4%.

On May 10, the index hit 10 and continued to register a score of 10 or below on six of the 17 days that followed, with the lowest score of 8 happening on May 17.

While it’s possible the market will still head lower in the near term, history indicates that both the price and the index will eventually rise above their current levels, presenting a potential investment opportunity for contrarian traders.

Whale wallet accumulation

Following Bitcoin whale wallets with a balance of 10,000 BTC or more is another indicator that signals when buying opportunities arise.

A close look at the past three months shows that while the market has been selling off, the number of wallets holding at least 10,000 BTC has been climbing.

The number of whale wallets of this size is now at its highest level since February 2021, when Bitcoin was trading above $57,000, and these wallets were selling into strength near the market top.

While many analysts on Crypto Twitter are calling for another 30-plus percent drop in the price of BTC, whale wallets are betting on a positive future.

Some traders buy when Bitcoin price drops below its cost of production

Another metric that can provide insight into when and where to buy is Bitcoin’s average mining cost, which is the amount of money it costs a miner to mine 1 BTC.

Bitcoin average mining cost. Source: MacroMicro

As seen on the chart above, the price of Bitcoin has traded at or above the cost of production for a majority of the time since 2017, indicating that the metric is a good indicator of when generational purchasing opportunities arise.

A closer look at the current reading shows that the average mining cost sits at $27,644, around $2,000 below where BTC is trading at the time of writing.

Bitcoin average mining cost. Source: MacroMicro

Further analysis shows that in past instances where the market price of BTC fell below the average mining cost, it tended to stay within 10% of the cost to mine and generally managed to regain parity within a couple of months.

Bitcoin mining difficulty also recently hit a new all-time high, and the market continues to see an uptrend as more industrial-sized mining operations come online. This means it’s unlikely that the average cost to mine will see a significant decline anytime soon.

Taken all together, the current cost to mine as compared with the market price of BTC presents a compelling case for the contrarian investor that the widespread fear dominating the market presents an opportunity to be greedy when others are fearful.

Patrick Mahomes sees a budding star in one Chiefs rookie

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had nothing but praise for rookie wide receiver Justyn Ross.

The Kansas City Chiefs offense is going to look a bit different with wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Byron Pringle no longer on the team. They did address the position through both free agency and the draft, such as JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Skyy Moore. But there is one pass-catcher that has caught the eye of Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

When speaking with the media, Mahomes heaped praise on undrafted free agent and former Clemson Tigers star Justyn Ross, saying he “can only imagine how good he’s going to be because of the talent he possesses.”

Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes has huge praise for rookie wide receiver Justyn Ross

This is not the only time that Mahomes has been impressed by Ross. During OTA’s on Wednesday, the team’s official Twitter account put up a video of Ross making an impressive sideline catch. Mahomes could not help but expresses his disbelief that the rookie acted like the catch he made was normal.

Ross was Clemson’s top option in their passing offense, and looked to be a bonafide first round NFL Draft pick. But in 2020, Ross underwent surgery for a congenital fusion in his spine. He was able to play 10 games this past college football season, but still went undrafted this year.

During his three seasons played at Clemson, Ross caught 158 passes for 2,379 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Ross is looking to make the team, and so far he is catching the eye of the team’s starting quarterback.

Apology for sterilizing HIV-positive women in moment of ‘reproductive justice’ — Global Issues

This settlement is a significant moment for women around the world who have been fighting for reproductive justice for decades,” said UNAIDS chief Winnie Byanyima.

President Gabriel Boric Font issued the apology as part of a settlement resulting from a case brought before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) by a Chilean woman who was sterilized without her consent shortly after giving birth in 2002.

“We welcome the recognition of international accountability in this emblematic case of human rights violations that women living with HIV and their reproductive autonomy have long suffered,” said Luisa Cabal, Director of the UNAIDS Regional Support Team for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Shocking surgery

When Francisca – a young woman from a rural town in Chile – turned 20, she and her partner received the happy news that they would be welcoming their first child.

During a routine prenatal test, she was diagnosed with HIV.

Taking all the appropriate measures to minimize the risk of HIV transmission, she gave birth to an HIV-negative boy that November.

However, during the caesarean section the surgeon decided without consent, to sterilize her.

“Coercive sterilization of women living with HIV is a violation of women’s most fundamental human rights,” underscored Ms. Byanyima.

Making a case

The Center for Reproductive Rights and the Chilean organization Vivo Positivo took Francisca’s case to IACHR in 2009 along with those of other HIV-positive women who documented that they were pressured to undergo surgical sterilization.

In another case, after giving birth, Daniela was told that she would transmit HIV to her newborn with a hug or kiss. She said in interviews that this was how she understood what discrimination was.

Long road to justice

After more than a decade of international litigation and IACHR’s studying the case, the State signed a settlement agreement accepting responsibility and committing to redress the violations and take measures to ensure these acts would not happen again.

UNAIDS intervened in this case with a brief that informed the IACHR on the health guidelines and human rights standards that each country must follow to respect, protect and guarantee the human rights of people living with HIV.

“It vindicates a journey of more than 10 years, both for Francisca and the organizations that accompanied her, in her quest for justice,” said Ms. Cabal.

Public contrition

During an official ceremony, broadcast live on social media, President Boric apologized to Francisca “for the serious violation,” the denial of justice, and for the long time she had to wait.

“It hurts to think that the State…is responsible for these cases. I pledge to you…that while we govern, we will give the best of each one of us as authorities so that something like this will never happen again and certainly so that in cases where these atrocities have already been committed, they will be properly redressed,” he said.

The Associate Director of Legal Strategies for Latin America and the Caribbean for the Center for Reproductive Rights, Carmen Martinez, read Francisca’s statement saying that she could not have led the struggle in her own name as it would have “closed endless doors,” for her.

“To this day, people who carry HIV are still looked down upon with contempt as if it was our decision to become infected. However, I want to believe with conviction that this will change.”

Stigma and discrimination prevail

HIV-related stigma and discrimination not only impact the health, lives and well-being of those living with or at risk of HIV but also hinder the response by limiting access to broader sexual and reproductive health and other health services.

UNAIDS continues its work to ensure that governments invest in preventing and responding to violations linked to the intersectional discrimination against people living with HIV.

“Unfortunately, this practice is still happening in many countries and efforts to stop it and bring justice to more women must be stepped up,” said the UNAIDS chief.

Rights office welcomes Zambia’s pledge to abolish the death penalty — Global Issues

President Hakainde Hichilema announced the development on Tuesday in a speech on the eve of Africa Day, according to media reports.

“We warmly welcome the Zambian President’s pledge on 24 May to abolish the death penalty in the country and work with Parliament to end this cruel, inhuman, and degrading punishment,” said OHCHR Spokesperson Seif Magango.

“Use of the death penalty is incompatible with fundamental human rights and dignity,” he added.

A major step forward

While Zambia has maintained a moratorium on capital punishment since 1997, when executions last took place, Mr. Magango said that formal abolition in law would be a major step forward for human rights in the country.

Zambia would also join the growing consensus worldwide for universal abolition of the death penalty.  Some 170 countries have abolished it, or introduced a moratorium, either in law or in practice.

OHCHR called on the Government and Parliament to bolster the President’s pledge with tangible legal reforms, including amending the Penal Code Act and the Criminal Procedure Code Act.

Assistance and cooperation

Additionally, the authorities should re-launch the Constitutional Reform process to expand the Bill of Rights, including with explicit prohibition of the death penalty.

The Government was also urged to demonstrate further international leadership on the issue by ratifying the Second Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, on abolition of the death penalty.

Mr. Magagno said OHCHR “stands ready to provide technical assistance and cooperation to the Zambian authorities to make this promise a reality.”

Pistol Director Danny Boyle Responds to John Lydon’s Criticism

Former Sex Pistols front man John Lydon has made it abundantly clear he isn’t a fan of Hulu‘s Pistol. But director Danny Boyle is unphased.

Lydon—better known as “Johnny Rotten”—saw images from the series about his punk rock band last year. He told The Sunday Times that it was the “most disrespectful s––t I’ve ever had to endure.”

And now, Boyle is speaking out about the matter. His thoughts? Lydon’s disapproval is “a small price to pay.”

Lydon previously tried to block Hulu from using the Sex Pistols’ music in the show but was unsuccessful since Pistols’ guitarist Steve Jones and drummer Paul Cook wanted the songs to be included.

“If you’re going to get upset about that, you don’t understand the history of the group and the subsequent history post-group,” the director told Entertainment Weekly. “The discord is fundamental to it. [Sex Pistols’ manager, Malcolm McLaren] takes an intemperance, an anger, a kind of resentment, a feeling of a chip on the shoulder, and then it extrapolates from there into the world through the music. And it’s what gives the songs such bite.”

Lydon—the band’s lead singer during its 1970s heyday—previously tried to block Hulu from using the Sex Pistols’ music in the show. He was unsuccessful because Pistols’ guitarist Steve Jones and drummer Paul Cook wanted the songs to be included.

SLAM’s TOP 75 NBA Teams of All Time List: 32-22

What makes a great championship team? And what makes one better than the other? These are the questions we tackled when putting together our list of the 75 best NBA teams of all time list, which is featured in our SLAM Presents top 75 NBA Teams of All Time special issue.

At this point in the list, we’re getting into dynasty territory. Clutch moments and high-pressure situations were the norm for these squads, many of whom won multiple championships over a three to five year period. Different.

From iconic three-peats to historic dubs, here’s our picks for No. 32-22:

32. 2004-05 San Antonio Spurs

Coach: Gregg Popovich

Record: 59-23

Roster: Brent Barry, Bruce Bowen, Devin Brown, Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Dion Glover, Robert Horry, Linton Johnson, Sean Marks, Tony Massenburg, Nazr Mohammed, Rasho Nesterovic, Tony Parker, Glenn Robinson, Malik Rose, Beno Udrih, Mike Wilks

The Spurs and Pistons came into the season having split the previous two NBA championships, and both upset higher-seeded opponents (the Suns and Heat, respectively) in the Conference Finals that spring. That set up a title bout that made up for a relative lack of star power with heavyweight intensity and dominant D. Five of seven Finals games ended with the losing team not breaking 80 points. The series ended with Tim Duncan securing his third ring.

31. 1963-64 Boston Celtics

Coach: Red Auerbach

Record: 59-21

Roster: John Havlicek, Tom Heinsohn, KC Jones, Sam Jones, Jim Loscutoff, Clyde Lovellette, Johnny McCarthy, Willie Naulls, Frank Ramsey, Bill Russell, Tom Sanders, Larry Siegfried

Yawn, another title run, but at least Boston got a new Finals opponent to break up the monotony. The San Francisco Warriors tried to play immovable object to the Celtics’ unstoppable force, and in Wilt Chamberlain, the Dubs at least had the firepower. But Boston had the balance, experience and pedigree: John Havlicek and Sam Jones led the offense, and Bill Russell did his usual work, dominating defensively and on the glass to lead Boston to its seventh championship in eight tries.

30. 1969-70 New York Knicks

Coach: Red Holzman

Record: 60-22

Roster: Dick Barnett, Nate Bowman, Bill Bradley, Dave DeBusschere, Walt Frazier, Bill Hosket, Don May, Willis Reed, Mike Riordan, Cazzie Russell, Dave Stallworth, John Warren

When a new decade brought an end to the Celtics’ dominance, the Knicks asserted themselves as the class of the League. Behind MVP Willis Reed’s 21.7 ppg and 13.9 rpg and Walt Frazier’s stylish 20.9 points and 8.2 dimes per, New York rolled to the League’s best record and a Finals meeting with the Lakers. What followed was a seven-game classic against West, Wilt and Baylor, best remembered for Reed’s Game 7 effort on a bum leg that inspired his teammates to victory.

29. 1981-82 Los Angeles Lakers

Coach: Paul Westhead, Pat Riley

Record: 57-25

Roster: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jim Brewer, Michael Cooper, Clay Johnson, Magic Johnson,Eddie Jordan, Mitch Kupchak, Mark Landsberger, Bob McAdoo, Mike McGee, Kevin  McKenna, Norm Nixon, Kurt Rambis, Jamaal Wilkes

Pat Riley was second choice. When Paul Westhead was fired (at Magic Johnson’s urging) 11 games into the ’81-82 season, Lakers owner Jerry Buss named Jerry West head coach. Only West didn’t want it, so Riley—the former player turned broadcaster turned inexperienced assistant—got the gig. Duly motivated, Magic, Kareem and Jamaal Wilkes led L.A. back to the Finals, where they bounced the Sixers in six. Showtime was in effect, and one of the greatest coaching careers was born.

28. 2001-02 Los Angeles Lakers

Coach: Phil Jackson

Record: 58-24

Roster: Kobe Bryant, Joe Crispin, Derek Fisher, Rick Fox, Devean George, Robert Horry, Lindsey Hunter, Mark Madsen, Jelani McCoy, Stanislav Medvedenko, Shaquille O’Neal, Mike Penberthy, Mitch Richmond, Brian Shaw, Samaki Walker

The third title of the Shaq-Kobe axis didn’t come easily. That Western Finals series with Sacramento was brutal, and there were those who thought the Lakers shouldn’t have won it. But they did, and then L.A. dusted Jersey in the Finals, behind another overpowering performance from O’Neal. The dynamic duo was again tremendous, while Derek Fisher provided stability at the point, and supporting players like Rick Fox and Robert Horry stepped up when needed.

27. 2006-07 San Antonio Spurs

Coach: Gregg Popovich

Record: 58-24

Roster: Brent Barry, Matt Bonner, Bruce Bowen, Jackie Butler, Tim Duncan, Francisco Elson, Melvin Ely, Michael Finley, Manu Ginobili, Robert Horry, Fabricio Oberto, Tony Parker, Beno Udrih, Jacque Vaughn, James White, Eric Williams

These Spurs scored when they needed to, and they moved the ball like no one else. But the real strength of the team was on defense, where San Antonio could stifle rivals, just like it did Cleveland in the Finals sweep. Tim Duncan was a no-frills frontcourt star, with point guard Tony Parker’s creativity and Manu Ginobili’s flair and passion the keys to the team’s success. Role players like Bruce Bowen and Michael Finley helped complete a pure team.

26. 1980-81 Boston Celtics

Coach: Bill Fitch

Record: 62-20

Roster: Tiny Archibald, Larry Bird, ML Carr, Terry Duerod, Eric Fernsten, Chris Ford, Gerald Henderson, Wayne Kreklow, Cedric Maxwell, Kevin McHale, Robert Parish, Rick Robey

After Magic Johnson got his title in 1980, it was Larry Bird’s turn. He and the Celtics waged a year-long battle with the Sixers that culminated with a seven-game Eastern Finals series that featured three big Boston comebacks. Kevin McHale and Robert Parish were interior forces, while Tiny Archibald, Chris Ford and Cedric Maxwell patrolled the perimeter. The Rockets were tough in the Finals, but they weren’t tough enough to stop the Celtics machine.

25. 1989-90 Detroit Pistons

Coach: Chuck Daly

Record: 59-23

Roster: Mark Aguirre, William Bedford, Joe Dumars, James Edwards, Dave Greenwood, Scott Hastings, Gerald Henderson, Vinnie Johnson, Stan Kimbrough, Bill Laimbeer, Ralph Lewis, Dennis Rodman, John Salley, Isiah Thomas

The Bad Boys went back-to-back with the same formula that won their first title: ferocious defense, timely offense and a Mean Streets attitude. Isiah Thomas smiled a lot, but he was a killer. Joe Dumars quietly piled up the points. Bill Laimbeer made no friends inside. Dennis Rodman rebounded and defended like a dervish. Mark Aguirre scored in many ways. James Edwards was a force in the post. And nobody wanted to mess with John Salley.

24. 2008-09 Los Angeles Lakers

Coach: Phil Jackson

Record: 65-17

Roster: Trevor Ariza, Shannon Brown, Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum, Jordan Farmar, Derek Fisher, Pau Gasol, DJ Mbenga, Chris Mihm, Adam Morrison, Lamar Odom, Josh Powell, Vladimir Radmanovic, Sasha Vujacic, Luke Walton, Sun Yue

The first of back-to-back titles was Kobe Bryant’s initial one as undisputed leader of the Lakers and redemption for the Mamba. A year after losing in the Finals to ancestral rival Boston, the Lakers piled up 65 wins—third most in franchise history—with Bryant leading the way but receiving plenty of help from Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum inside. The anticipated Finals matchup with Cleveland and LeBron James didn’t happen, so L.A. whipped Orlando instead.

23. 2007-08 Boston Celtics

Coach: Doc Rivers

Record: 66-16

Roster: Ray Allen, Tony Allen, PJ Brown, Sam Cassell, Glen Davis, Kevin Garnett, Eddie House, Kendrick Perkins, Paul Pierce, Scot Pollard, James Posey, Leon Powe, Gabe Pruitt, Rajon Rondo, Brian Scalabrine

Depending on how you define it, the Super Team era started in Boston in the summer of ’07, when future Hall of Famers Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen joined Paul Pierce to give the Celtics their best team in (at least) 20 years. Behind Pierce’s scoring, Allen’s shooting and KG’s two-way play, the Cs posted an NBA-high 66 wins and bounced LeBron and the Cavs en route to the Finals, where they renewed their rivalry with the Lakers. Not long after, they hung banner No. 17.

22. 1992-93 Chicago Bulls

Coach: Phil Jackson

Record: 57-25

Roster: BJ Armstrong, Ricky Blanton, Bill Cartwright, Joe Courtney, Jo Jo English, Horace Grant, Michael Jordan, Stacey King, Rodney McCray, Ed Nealy, John Paxson, Will Perdue, Scottie Pippen, Trent Tucker, Darrell Walker, Corey Williams, Scott Williams

The Lakers and Pistons had taken some of the magic out of title repeats by the time the Bulls
won their second straight, but no team since the Celtics’ ’60s dynasty had won three in a row. The Bulls felt like making history. The formula by now was familiar: Jordan averaged League-
highs in points (32.6) and steals (2.8), Scottie Pippen was a terror at both ends and Chicago made the big plays when it mattered, edging Barkley and the Suns in the Finals to seal the threepeat.
