Assassin’s Creed Mirage Listed for £35 at Major UK Retailer

Update: GAME has quickly updated its Assassin’s Creed Mirage listing this morning, and now when you go to purchase the Deluxe Edition, its price will increase at checkout to £49.99 instead of £34.99. Thanks to Twitter user @JustAMoogle for informing us on the change. The original story continues below.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is now available to preorder in the UK, listed at £44.99 for the Standard Edition on the Ubisoft Store, £49.99 for the Deluxe Edition, and £129.99 for the Collector’s Edition. But, preorders are also now available at UK retailer GAME, which has both the Standard and Deluxe Editions listed at just £34.99 at the time of writing.

This is either a temporary error or simply an amazing deal. Either way, GAME will not charge you until the game releases (pay on dispatch), so you’ve got nothing to lose preordering this. But, if this is an error, GAME will likely correct the price very soon, so I’d check it out as soon as possible if you want to take advantage.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Preorders for £35 (Update: No Longer Valid)

One catch with GAME is that you will have to pay for delivery when the AC Mirage launches (currently the release date is TBC), and the delivery charge is £5. So, in reality, you’re looking at £39.99 for the Deluxe Edition – which is still £10 off list price directly from Ubisoft.

But, if you are feeling extra savvy about things, you can also opt to collect the game from your local store when it launches. This also costs £5 (don’t ask why), but GAME does ‘reimburse’ you, by giving you a £5 voucher to spend in-store. Seemingly this isn’t as good as getting free delivery (or free click & collect), but it’s better than nothing, and worth knowing before you preorder.

I know what your next thought is – why is a new Assassin’s Creed only going to cost £35-50? This isn’t a big RPG Assassin’s Creed, and will therefore have a tighter narrative, and less overall gameplay.

This is simply speculation, but this is likely why the game won’t be listed at the new premium prices for AAA games in the UK, £65-£70. Instead, as it’s a smaller game compared to the previously gargantuan Creed titles, you’re looking at a maximum of £50 for the game.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Deluxe Edition Preorders – What’s Included?

If you do opt to preorder the Mirage Deluxe Edition, there aren’t a ton of extras, but when it’s listed at the same price as the standard version, you might as well go for it.

The Ubisoft website states that the Deluxe pack will ‘unlock a Prince of Persia–inspired outfit, eagle and mount skins, weapons, and more’. While GAME also says you’ll be getting the bonus ‘digital artbook and digital soundtrack’ as well. All preorders will also include a bonus quest: The Forty Thieves.

When is Assassin’s Creed Mirage Releasing?

Right now we don’t have a date for when Assassin’s Creed Mirage will hit PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC. Ubisoft has simply stated the game will be released at some stage in 2023. So, that December 31, 2023 date is simply a placeholder on the GAME listing.
