Anthony Davis reacts to Lakers’ disappointing loss against Magic
In a surprising turn of events, the Orlando Magic stunned the Los Angeles Lakers with a 120-101 victory, fueled by the stellar performances of Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero, who scored 26 and 25 points, respectively.
Despite a valiant effort from Anthony Davis, who notched 28 points, 13 rebounds, and seven blocks for the Lakers, the Magic’s dominant performance on the boards and adept exploitation of Laker turnovers secured them a commanding lead, pushing ahead by 25 points late in the third quarter.
“It was a collective [Lakers] problem tonight. Nothing that we didn’t know that [the Magic] were gonna do… Even though we tightened up the screws a little bit, the offensive rebounds killed us the entire game,” Davis said postgame, via ClutchPoints.
